Peaceful and beautiful
Pros:

Found this gem when my camper broke down and I needed somewhere to to stay the night with my young grandson and two wee dogs. The staff were all lovely and nothing was a bother. Beautiful location too and I loved the history of the place.

I have nothing negative to say from arrival to leaving

Vieux triste et sombre

L'emplacement est très bien, dans la forêt avec des chemins près d'une rivière et près d'un petit port

C'est très vieux..Cela ne nous gêne pas quand c'est confortable. Mais là, ça ne l'est pas. C'est moche,triste et sombre. Notre chambre au rez-de-chaussée avait des fenêtres hautes, nous avions l'impression d'être semi enterrés. Pas de place dans la salle de bain pour poser quoi que ce soit. Notre chambre jouxtait le bar, avec, le premier jour une musique très forte.Tant qu'au petit déjeuner, c'était sur une table minuscule et ronde, où, là aussi, on ne pouvait rien poser, sans faire tomber les assiettes .mon lit avait un ressort qui faisait du bruit chaque fois que je me tournais.
Nous sommes en haute saison et nous nous sommes pris trop tard pour trouver mieux. C'était très cher pour une chambre comme cela (240 €la nuit !!!!)

Pros:

The lady who was working was very helpful. Helped keep my 2 dog safe when we went for food. Kept us away from other dogs. Making it nice to have some food. Food was amazing. 💯 will come back.

A beautiful old Scottish Inn and lovely place to stay on the NC500 Roadtrip. Easy to Find, Easy to Park, Good Dinner and breakfast at the Inn and comfortable, clean Room.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Nacht sehr ruhig. Das Nachtessen war sehr fein. Alles sehr sauber.

Cons:

Ineinem unserer Zimmer hatte es Steinboden und die Deckebeleuchtung war sehr kalt. Dies machte die Atmosphäre ewas ungemütlich.
