Stunning views, peaceful location, mixed room experience
Pros:

The hotel is located in a truly picturesque area, surrounded by vineyards and offering a beautiful view over the entire city. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful, which made the stay very relaxing. The views are definitely one of the strongest points of this place — from the balcony, the restaurant and the outdoor areas, everything looked absolutely stunning.

Breakfast was very generous, with a wide variety of options, so everyone could find something they liked. We also used the swimming pool, which was often empty, allowing us to enjoy it privately and peacefully. The area around the pool, including the terrace with sun loungers, was also very pleasant and well designed.

We also visited the restaurant in the evening and tried the desserts and wines, which we can highly recommend. The atmosphere, combined with the views, made the experience very special.

The newer part of the hotel is very modern, elegant and beautifully finished. Everything there felt fresh and comfortable.

Cons:

The main downside for us was the difference between the rooms. The modern part of the hotel is very nice, but it does not really have the castle atmosphere. Even though you are staying at a castle hotel, in the newer building it feels like a completely different space, so some of the unique character may be lost.

Our second room, located in the more traditional castle part, had much more historic charm, with beautiful wooden furniture and a castle-style atmosphere. However, the room itself was very small and quite dark. The burgundy walls, combined with a small window, made the room feel rather heavy and not very bright or cheerful. With lighter walls, the room would probably feel much more pleasant while still keeping its historic character.

During our stay there was also a wedding taking place at the hotel, with many guests and large decorations. Because of that, it was not possible to change our rooms. However, apart from this, the wedding did not negatively affect our stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit very much. The location, peaceful atmosphere, views, breakfast, pool area and restaurant were excellent. The only reason we would not rate it 10/10 is the comfort and atmosphere of the small, dark castle room. For us, the stay was around 8/10 — still a very good experience, especially because the views and surroundings were truly unforgettable.

Tolle Lage und wunderschöne Terrasse

Cons:

Einzelzimmer sehr klein und sehr dunkel mit Blick zur Strasse. Sehr kleines Bett mit Holzumrandung. Nicht gpr große Menschen geeignet. Hier stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Angebot, Räumlichkeiten, Personal usw..
Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr guter Schlafkomfort.

Cons:

Zugang aus der Stadt zu dem Hotel sehr aufwendig und teilweise schwierig, da sehr enge Straßen.
Kein direkter Zugang von den Zimmern im 1. Stock Neubau zu dem Haupthaus, wo das Frühstück serviert wird.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption und die Lage des Hotels.

Cons:

Das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage, bei Außentemperatur von 40 ° !!! Kein Aufzug nach oben zum Zimmer und der sogenannte Kuehlschrank war aus und hat auch bei Anschalten nicht gekuehlt. Wir haben uns entschlossen umgehend ein anderes Hotel zu suchen und haben im Marriott AC Hotel ein gekühlten Zimmer mit Kühlschrank bekommen.

War in Ordnung, bräuchte ich kein zweites Mal für diesen Preis.
Pros:

Der Standort, die Aussicht.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren teilweise sehr veraltet, Unschöner Geruch aus den Rohren / Bad. Poolbereich sehr sehr glitschig und auch in die Jahre gekommen. Würden wir nicht mehr hin.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit außergewöhnlicher Lage und sehr nettem Personal, Parkplatz kostenfrei
Pros:

teils historisches Gebäude, das sehr schön in mitten der Weinberge gelegen ist. Von hier hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt Würzburg. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Zum Abendessen gab es ein außergewöhnlich gutes Dreigänge Menü,, was bei dem Preis aber auch zu erwarten war.

Cons:

Leider war der Pool nicht nutzbar, wegen eines technischen Problems. Außerdem sollte man das Leitungswasser nicht zum Zähneputzen benutzen, da es irgendeine Verunreinigung gab. Das Hotel hatte eigens eine Flasche Mineralwasser dafür ins Bad gestellt.
