Hotel der bekannten Kette mit entsprechend standardisierter Ausstattung ca. 1 km vom Vieux Port entfernt. Zimmer und Bad mit praktischer, aber durchaus wohnlicher Ausstattung, insgesamt in gutem, wenngleich hier & da leicht angejahrtem Zustand. Beim Einchecken Gutschein für ein kostenloses Getränk. Sehr gutes Frühstück zum günstigen Preis von knapp 11 Euro zubuchbar, Parkplatz in abgetrenntem Gelände 13 Euro. Insgesamt eine gute Wahl fur einen Zwischenstopp in La Rochelle - wäre da nicht die...

... Klimaanlage, die zentral gesteuert und daher vom Gast in der Temperatur von nominell 21° unbeeinflussbar genau auf die Liegefläche des Bettes bläst - entweder frieren mit oder schwitzen ohne! Das hat meinen Nachtschlaf erheblich beeinträchtigt - die etwa abgelaufenen Teppichböden auf den Hotelfluren dagegen deutlich weniger.
