Visited on a girls trip/get away and we had the best time! Pool area is super nice and the waitress took excellent care of us while we laid out. Building is beautiful with lots of history. Staff is top tier from the front desk, to the bar tenders and rooms attendants. The rooms are spacious. We had 4 to a room to save on costs and there was plenty of space.
I had an excellent experience with the Fordson Hotel. The staff were professional, welcoming and genuinely committed to making guests feel taken care of. The hotel management team, including Debra and Melanie, went above and beyond, and their willingness to help really stood out.
It’s rare to come across a team that combines professionalism with genuine hospitality. I’d happily recommend the Fordson to anyone looking for a hotel where the service feels thoughtful, personal and dependable.
Friendly staff . Very helpful
All good
What a beautiful hotel and historic building! The rooms were so spacious and the big windows were so nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay!
Location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do downtown. Atmosphere was fun. Large rooms were nice. Enjoyed the sauna.
The physical space was lovely if you like modern, loft like city vibe. The pool was very small with limited patio furniture but cute. The linens were nice & room was clean.
We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the property itself has potential, our experience was overshadowed by overly restrictive rules and an unwelcoming staff attitude. As paying guests spending $400 for our stay, we expected a much higher level of customer service. We encountered three frustrating situations during our brief stay:Pool Restrictions: Upon arrival, we were informed that our 17-year-old children had to leave the pool area by 4:30 PM due to the pool bar opening. We have stayed at many hotels where adults consume alcohol around families and have never run into this policy. To make matters more frustrating, the pool bar never actually opened, though we still complied with the request.Pool Closure Notice: Around 9:30 PM, my husband and I brought our $20 cocktails outside to enjoy the evening. We were immediately met with an abrupt warning from staff: "Don't get too comfortable, as we are closing at 10 and you will need to leave." The delivery felt unnecessarily stern rather than hospitable.Snack Room Policy: Later, my husband went to the guest snack area to grab a refreshment and was sharply told by a staff member that the room was closed. At this price point, we expected to feel like valued guests. Instead, the constant enforcement of strict rules and the sharp tone from the staff left us feeling unwelcome. We hope management reviews their approach to guest communication, as customer satisfaction seemed to be a very low priority
The experience was very pleasant, the staff really made me feel as if I was really home. Everything was clean immaculately. The security guard Marcus does his job very well.
Hermosa decoración!!!
Cute and cozy. Was really clean

Where do I even begin? Our stay at the Fordson Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. Melanie and her staff went so far above and beyond that we were genuinely speechless. What truly elevated this special stay for our anniversay to a once-in-a-lifetime experience was the exceptional service delivered by Melanie. From the welcome bubbly and personal note, to the special room accommodation that exceeded every expectation and dinner at Mary Eddy's, the planning Melanie and her team put in will forever be appreciated to capture our special celebration. Melanie, and every single member of your team — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our stay unforgettable. We will absolutely be back.
I used this hotel to purpose to my fiance the staff helped make that entirely possible having things ready for me the moment I got there. They were discreet and handled everything professionally. The bathtubs there are FANTASTIC and huge!! Big deal for me 100//1000 would recommend and the rooms are HUGE.
There was nothing I didn't like other then I couldn't stay longer!
Unique comfortable clean classic feeling
The parking garage highly recommend using valet services, which is part of the hotel, which is amazing
Fun,quirky hotel with comfortable rooms, great restaurant and friendly, helpful staff.
A couple things in the room (ceiling) were a bit run down but they did not impact my comfort
Beautiful hotel with some great decor and art! Very happy and helpful staff that made my wife's birthday the most memorable!
I returned to the Fordson Hotel for a second stay after a very poor experience four months ago. Everyone deserves a second chance.
Nothing has improved. Every failure from my prior stay remains—unchanged, uncorrected, and at this point indefensible.
There was no pre-arrival communication, no welcome letter at check-in, and no acknowledgment of my World of Hyatt Globalist status. My reservation specified a room on the highest floor. I was assigned a room on the second floor without explanation.
There is no bellman or doorman. Valet attendants do not assist with luggage. The front desk does not offer help.
In-room amenities are the bare minimum. No robe. No slippers. No mouthwash or dental kit. At a property positioning itself between four and five stars — and carrying a AAA four diamond rating! — those are baseline expectations, not luxuries. There were also no newspapers or local materials, like an Oklahoma or Oklahoma City tourist magazine, anywhere in the hotel.
The room itself shows neglect. Furniture/case goods are scuffed, scratched, and visibly damaged. The sofa had two noticeable stains and showed some fraying. The walk-in shower had extensive black mold. That much mold doesn’t appear overnight. When was the last time the shower was deep-cleaned or tiles re-grouted? The duvet cover was stained, raising serious questions about housekeeping oversight. Decorative throw pillows and a bedspread — items almost certainly not laundered between guests — only compound the hygiene concerns.
Even the linens reflect a lack of standards. Towels were a mismatched assortment of brands. The bath towels, thin 1888 Mills stock, were thin, worn and rough. Hand towels were Hyatt-branded and soft. Face cloths came from Preferred Comfort. Why is a supposedly upscale hotel mixing linens? It is a small detail that speaks to a much larger problem: no attention to detail anywhere in the operation.
Basic functionality is also mishandled. The television is undersized for the room given its distance from the bed. At this level, you expect a 55-inch screen. This was closer to 45. I could barely see the TV from the bed, thanks in front to the soft and table. Who was the idiot designer who came up with the layout?
Food and beverage operations remain equally flawed. I had dinner on both stays at
Mary Eddy's. Both times wines listed on the printed menu were unavailable. Of course, higher-priced substitutes suggested. At best, this reflects poor inventory management. At worst, it feels like a bait-and-switch. Breakfast is little more than a coffee counter — closer to a Starbucks than a full-service hotel offering.
Mary Eddy's aims to be upscale but falls apart under scrutiny. The menu is limited and conceptually confused. The wine list lacks credibility. There is no trentodoc or franciacorta sparkling options, while a bottle of Müller-Thurgau is presented as a premium selection despite being an inexpensive, everyday wine in Italy and Germany.
More baffling is the decision not to open the bar until 5 p.m. Guests arrive hours earlier. You would expect the bar to be open by 3 p.m.
The Fordson is marketed as an upscale boutique hotel occupying the space between a four-star and five-star property. In practice, the operating standard aligns more closely with a Hyatt Place or Courtyard by Marriott—and in several respects falls below even those.
The building itself is attractive and well-conceived. But design cannot compensate for systemic operational failure.
Management appears to lack even a basic understanding of how to run a hotel at this level. At this price point and positioning, they are unacceptable.
All things considered, I will NOT return to the Fordson until there is proof of better management and better overall operations.
P.S. Why are hallways basically dark? There needs to be lighting.
Historic Ford assembly line. Updated to be a comfortable and posh hotel. The staff were very attentive, polite, and helpful. We appreciated their hospitality.
The hotel lobby is very beautiful and we loved the art gallery. We also loved the reusable water bottles and appreciated the local shuttle.
The layout of the hotel is odd. If you’re using the pool you have to walk through the main lobby and then through a restaurant/bar to get to the pool…. And back through when you’re wet/in bathing suits. The pool itself had lots of leaves in and and some trash. When we asked for someone to skim it or even just get us a skimmer, no one ever brought one. Lastly we felt like things were really hard to find. There aren’t a lot of signs letting you know which direction to head to the pool or where the fitness center/spa is. The info in the rooms was also really lacking. We were wanting room service but there was no in room
Menu or information about what was offered.
