Piersland House

We stayed at this hotel for a relaxing night away. The hotel itself is lovely. The bar area is nice and the breakfast was good. We were allocated room 4 - it’s a nice room but it is right next to the kitchen roof - 6am the fan comes on and it’s very loud. I was woken up by it so I raised it with reception when we checked out - the receptionist did not apologise but did say “yes that noise comes from the kitchen fan” … at £190 a night it’s simply not acceptable!

Our family just had a fantastic stay at Piersland House Hotel. The Piersland is a five iron from Royal Troon Golf Club and a short taxi ride from Prestwick Golf Club making it an ideal base for a golf trip to Ayrshire. Our cottage accommodation was very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. The restaurant at the Piersland was unlike most hotel restaurants in that it was a food destination in its own right. The menu was great and the food was excellent as was the service. We noted that many locals come there to eat which is always a good sign. The grounds are private and the garden and various sitting areas are pleasant for enjoying a cocktail. We would highly recommend the Piersland House and already look forward to our next trip there to enjoy their Scottish hospitality. Thanks. Cheers.

We were only here for Sunday lunch on this occasion having stayed in the hotel several times in superior rooms which are lovely and well appointed but the lunch was exceptional as was the service the surroundings are beautiful with gorgeous gardens and within walking distance of the beach and Royal Troon Golf course
It’s a perfect spot and the hotel has its own history with a whisky background and frankly I love it. Go try it you won’t regret it

Stunning venue for my sons recent wedding. The service was exemplary and quality of food second to none. Well done to all the staff for making it a day never to be forgotten.

Back from a fantastic overnight in the hotel. A great DB&B deal. We stayed in the lodge rooms. Really liked the fact that you can open your door and stand on the terrace and watch the world go by. The room was exceptionally clean. Our dinners were really delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. We chose to have breakfast roon service which was brilliant. I love having this option! We will most definitely return in the future.
