Underwhelming
Pros:

Inside of the apartment was large, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Location of the apartment was awful (basement) looking at a decrepit wall and it was stuffy. Receptionist on arrival was surly. Hotel was under renovation but we were not told at time of booking (woke to builder looking in from the scaffolding). For a hotel called The View, this was our view.

Old fashioned seaside accommodation
Pros:

The location, especially for dog owners is perfect, endless safe walking on The Leas, overlooking the sea. Easy walk to Folkestone town and harbour.
Tall ceiling room, big enough for 2 plus dog.
Coffee making.
There would be a nice view to gardens at the side, if for the scaffolding.
The staff were very efficient and friendly.

Cons:

The hotel is being renovated or repaired outside.
It is in need up-dating all round.
Carpets make it dusty.
The shower took ages to warm up.
No air con, just a fan.

Pros:

Beautiful location
Very nice walk along the beach to Folkestone harbour

Cons:

Twe had two rooms
In one of the rooms there was a towel with diry brown stains
In the other room, the bin in the bathroom was still filled from previous guests.
Overall quite an unhygienic impression overall

Great location and building but experience somewhat let down by lack of aircon .
Pros:

Fantastic location.we had a lovely big room with great view

Cons:

Lack of air conditioning or a bar fridge in room made stay less pleasant during heat wave . No information provided about facilities - meal options etc . Most staff not particularly helpful. One staff member very good though.
