The staff were anxious to help me as a lone invalid traveller and the situation delightful
Pros:

meals good choice and to my taste . as an invalid, I was well catered for

Cons:

for a hotel named "the view" the view from my room was delightful, but it was unfortunate that the hotel was under maintenance and the view from the evening restaurant was blocked by scaffolding. No prior warning of this was made.

Good location hotel needs some updating and TLC

Cons:

First room we were put in was small and dated with no air con and only one working plug socket and smart tv but staff were great and moved us to a much nicer room. Lots of noise from upstairs guests and WiFi atrocious!

Great Hotel overlooking the seafront and beach
Pros:

room and hotel both comfortable, spacious and clean. I've stayed here a few times and will stay again.

Cons:

Fan in my room was covered in dust and didn't work but it was quickly replaced, so issue was resolved.

A wonderful old style hotel with friendly staff and good food.
Pros:

Its “Old School” character gave it individuality. Much better than the corporate “everything looks the same” hotels.
Plus its situation right on the front was great for exploring the sea front. The staff were very helpful and friendly!

Das Frühstück.

Cons:

Wir haben ein rollstuhlgerechtes Hotel gebucht. In dem Appartement waren Stufen zum Schlafzimmer und zum Bad.
Das Appartement befand sich im Keller mit entsprechendem "Ausblick", gleich neben der Spülküche und war extrem hellhörig. Der im Appartment befindliche Tisch hatte die Höhe eines Stehtisches, so dass man diesen als Rollstuhlfahrer nicht benutzen konnte.
Die Parksituation trägt auch nicht dazu bei, den Aufenthalt angenehmer zu gestalten.

Een heerlijk verblijf, zeker vatbaar voor een volgende keer in Folkstone.
Pros:

Het hotel is mooi gelegen met uitzicht op zee en een mooie wandelboulevard voor de deur. Bij het ontbijt was een ruime keuze. Het personeel in de receptie als in het restaurant waren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Het is een oud hotel, dus je hebt ook hier en daar wat slijtage.

Hotel ligt vlakbij het strand. Mooi uitzicht. Auto voor de deur geparkeerd (wel betaald).
Hond mocht mee (25 pond voor 1 nacht wel wat veel)
Ontbijt was prima

Bed had veel springveren, gehorig, stond in de steigers voor onderhoud
