Great location-close to airport!
Pros:

The property is clean. The staff were so friendly! The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was so big! Shower was great! The room in the shower was plentiful!

Cons:

We only got a partial roll of toilet paper and no backup for 3 girls. There was no ice machine. You had to call the front desk to get it delivered. The shuttle didn’t run during the time we needed it. Having a shuttle and being so close to the airport are the reasons we booked the hotel.

Definitely lacking in noise reduction between walls or between floors.
Pros:

Room was nice but way too much noise from room above and the TV in the next door room. The TV next door was on loudly all evening and at 9:45 pm I had to call the front desk. It took 2 calls and finally the room next door turned TV off at 10:10 pm. We were tired and had driven 8 hours to get there. The next morning at 5:30 am the TV was again on loudly and left on even after the patron apparently checked out.

At 5:19 am the upstairs patron started doing exercises in his room either jogging or jumping rope. Then walking back and forth across room.

The walls and ceiling above apparently have very little insulation and the noise level is unreasonable in a nice hotel.

Cons:

Too much noise as stated above.

Disappointing
Pros:

Staff and location were great.

Cons:

A bit dated for a supposed 4 star hotel. The hall outside our room had missing or damaged carpet tiles.

Sonny made the Experience Great!
Pros:

My stay at The Delavan was phenomenal. Right off the back, my girlfriend and I were lost because they were setting up for an event.

The amount of patience Sonny showed was complemented by the positive energy he radiated. Made the hotel feel so welcoming. He waited outside for us and brought us to where we needed to be. It didn't stop there. Every time I saw him, he was just infectious positive energy. He was attentive to all guests, even if he had to walk towels or ice the rooms himself. Sonny recommended the Italian Prime restaurant located in the whole, and I must say that the food was just amazing.

The rooms were cleaned, and the bed was comfy. Sonny informed us that there was a silent auction on Saturday and that Fabulous was performing. Honestly, it was nice to see a hotel with an event like that. It didn't take away from the trip at all. The highlight of the Delavan is Sonny. It felt like I was family. I will book again as long as Sonny is working. Well worth the price.

Very shabby property and extremely disappointing.
Pros:

The location was good and Sonny at the front desk was very nice.

Cons:

It was shabby, unkempt and a definite disappointment. The hallway carpet squares were loose and peeling. A chair at our end of the hallway had springs sticking out the bottom. Our room was dusty, no bedside lamps, the door to the toilet was extremely difficult to open and close. There were dark bits that looked like flakes of chocolate between the bed and the windows on an obviously poorly vacuumed carpet.

Best guest experience I have ever had for a hotel stay!
Pros:

I had two separate stays in the month of march. I was in town for a business trip and both stays were top notch. Sonny was the gentleman that I had the pleasure of dealing with and he was simply amazing! Sonny was a pleasure to speak with and made my stay a memorable experience. When I arrived for my second trip Sonny remembered me and greeted my like we were old friends. It felt nice to be welcomed back, not as just another customer, but a welcomed and valued guest. I look forward to returning in the future and hope to see Sonny on the next trip. 5 Stars!
