Best Hotel in Quito
Pros:

Everything here was amazing, from initial communication to leaving early in the morning with a lovely gift from the hotel. The staff are so lovely friendly and helpful. They organised our trip for us and it was an amazing experience. The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable we slept very well.
If we return to Quito we will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Experience in Friends Hotel & Rooftop
Pros:

When I came to this hotel, I felt very welcome, they wrote my name on the board to welcome me. I was first worried as it has no AC because it's hot on the day, but, indeed, you don’t need it as it’s cool in the evening and I slept very well every night!😁 All the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. I have to mention the Hotel Receptionist, whose name is Yale, who always helps me and gives me recommendations for what to do in Quito during my only 3-day stay, and indeed I experienced and saw most of the attractions. The Hotel itself is in a historic area and is within walking distance of many historic sites. There is a restaurant 1 min walk from the Hotel that I also would like to recommend if you want to eat traditional Ecuadorian foods. You can also arrange with them airport transport which is also at a reasonable price shout out to Fernando and his brother who drove me safely to my destination. My stay in this Hotel is beyond my expectations and I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting QUITO

Pros:

Location is super close to everything you'll want to access eliminating the need for planning or paying for a ride. Rooms are as described in the photos. Staff were always available and welcoming. The breakfast on the top floor is worth a lot and the kitchen staff go out of their way to make it a memorable experience.

A comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast experience
Pros:

My room was simple, met my needs, everything in working order, a good value.
No elevator so the staff carried my luggage upstairs. The breakfast is amazing, nice variety, superb taste with a beautiful view!

A Room with a View
Pros:

We spent 3 nights here before heading to the Coast. The name says it all, everyone at the Friends Hostel treated us with warmth and care as though we were old friends.
Our first day we spent all day out walking and seeing the wonderful sights in this historic district, not getting back until about 8 in the evening. The next morning the first desk young woman said that she had noticed we hadn’t returned before the end of her shift. In the morning when she began her shift she checked with the night shift person to confirm we had returned safely.
The location is ideal for walking and discovering the historic district. The rooms are ample and spotlessly clean. The street in front does not have any traffic only an occasional taxi picking up or dropping off. The included breakfast is wonderful with an amazing view. Currently there’s some construction so there’s some noise starting early morning.

Pros:

This hotel is excellent. The staff could not do enough for you, the rooms are comfortable with an old charm, but still modern enough that they do not feel outdated despite the building being over 300 years old, and the breakfast is amazing. You are also a 3 minute walk to the old town. Could not recommend enough.
