Full payment is required at check-in.

Please note that on-site parking is limited, and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Parking cannot be reserved. On street parking is available around the hotel (JA or JD zones) using council scratchcards available at reception (GBP 6.00 for 24 hours). The historic dockyard car park is directly opposite the hotel. This is subject to availability, and hotel guests have a reduced rate (conditions apply).

Some leisure facilities are chargeable and time restrictions apply.

Guests are advised that occasionally functions take place in the club. On these occasions it is possible music can be heard until midnight.

The Swimming Pool is open Monday - Friday from 3.30 PM until 8 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays its open from 8 AM until 8 PM.

The Jacuzzi is currently closed for maintenance until further notice. For Cash payments I.D must be shown on arrival. Smoking is not permitted and will result in payment of a fine, any damages to the property will need to be paid at reception.

We're doing some light refurbishment at the hotel to improve our guest experience, but any disruption will be kept to a minimum. Thanks for your understanding.

Hotel fonctionnel, accueil chaleureux et localisation pratique
Pros:

Nous avons passé une soirée et une nuit très agréables dans cet hôtel très fonctionnel, dans une chambre spacieuse, propre et lumineuse. Nous avons aussi apprécié le dîner au restaurant en dégustant un poisson délicieux.
Personnel aux petits soins.
Localisation très pratique pour l'embarcadère des piétons vers l'Ile de Wight.

A once great hotel under construction and currently unfit to stay in
Pros:

Wonderful Sarah at front desk tried to find us a suitable room and failing that let us have breakfast the next morning (as our room was non refundable this was only fair). But the hotel was un usable.

Cons:

The hotel was (and will be for some time) under construction/ renovation and with no air conditioning was so unsuitable for a stay on the hot summer's day we went that we wrote off the cost of our room and stayed at a nearby hotel, simply returning for breakfast the next morning.

The rooms we were shown were not fit for habitation. They were unbearable.

If you plan to stay here, DON'T do so until you are sure they have finished their construction project, don't stay if hot weather is forecast (you'll feel like you are in an oven).

An interesting building close to the city centre
Pros:

We arrived by train and planned to visit the Royal Historic dockyard so the hotel was in the perfect location, a short walk to both. A fascinating, historic building with a naval theme and naval links. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was a buffet and tasty with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful.
