Please note that on-site parking is limited, and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Parking cannot be reserved. On street parking is available around the hotel (JA or JD zones) using council scratchcards available at reception (GBP 6.00 for 24 hours). The historic dockyard car park is directly opposite the hotel. This is subject to availability, and hotel guests have a reduced rate (conditions apply).
Some leisure facilities are chargeable and time restrictions apply.
Guests are advised that occasionally functions take place in the club. On these occasions it is possible music can be heard until midnight.
The Swimming Pool is open Monday - Friday from 3.30 PM until 8 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays its open from 8 AM until 8 PM.
The Jacuzzi is currently closed for maintenance until further notice. For Cash payments I.D must be shown on arrival. Smoking is not permitted and will result in payment of a fine, any damages to the property will need to be paid at reception.

Building work taking place, the 3rd floor communal corridor was a mess, difficult to navigate where to find lift and bedrooms…. Poor signage.
Don’t have air condition was very hot in the room
Very convenient to Portsmouth Harbor Station. Decent sized rooms, clean and bedding comfortable. Very warm and no air conditioning and even with temperatures hovering around 84 F, the room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Breakfast well organized, but some choices not stocked given volume of visitors. Fire alarm went off three times our first evening. One of the elevators broken and self service laundry amenity no amenity: both washers and one of the two dryers out of order. When my fan didn't work, the front desk said there was an event and no extra fans since the hotel was full. The front desk did not know about the laundry situation and when informed I was told that technicians weren't available on a bank holiday. On our second night, the internet went down in the early evening and when we inquired we were told that it was the weather, just too hot for sensors. If it cools down, the internet may come back up and if not the technicians would address on the next day after returning from their bank holiday. No refrigerator in room. While the location is convenient to Portsmouth Dockyard, I would not recommend staying at this hotel given the range of problems we confronted and the hotel response to them. I would hardly consider this a signature collection boutique hotel.
Visited over the weekend to attend a function.
The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the historical Portsmouth dockyard (Royal Navy museum, Mary Rose etc).
Also the ferry to the Isle of Wight & Gosport ferry.
There is limited parking outside the hotel, however there is a multistorey opposite. I managed to get a space in the zone parking at the side of the hotel and purchased a ticket in the hotel. Six pounds for twenty four hours, this was a good deal.
The reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
My room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the WiFi signal was fine
The function I attended was great and I really enjoyed myself.
The bar staff were well organised and we never had to wait long to get served.
I slept well in a very comfy bed and had a hearty breakfast in the morning.
Overall a very enjoyable visit, I will certainly return and highly recommend this hotel

No email to advise there was work being done, no noise but signs down on floor, screws on floor
Lift sign not clear -1 should say reception as got lost to begin with
