Sometimes, words feel inadequate when trying to express a truly lived experience. From the moment the car entered the drop-off entrance, I knew this stay would be something special. The sense of serenity begins with the architecture, built into the side of a hill and overlooking a breathtaking valley, it is designed to capture the very best of the views.

That feeling continues in the rooms: spacious, calm, and cool, with floor-to-ceiling views of the valley. Quiet. Peaceful. Restful. The interior décor, while not brand new, reflects the building’s spirit, neutral tones accented with touches of Sri Lankan culture.

But what truly makes this hotel unforgettable isn’t just what it offers, it’s the people. The staff’s focus is on you from the very beginning: quietly attentive, anticipating your needs, and thoughtfully catering to your wishes. Vishante was a perfect host, always checking in, always ensuring everything was just right, from when I wanted breakfast to what I wanted to eat.

The food here is unforgettable. I requested Sri Lankan dishes for both breakfast and dinner, and the chef went above and beyond. Every meal was exceptional, gourmet, supported by an incredible team whose care and attention made each moment special. All of this was overseen and quietly orchestrated by Vishante, alongside Deepika and the management team, who together created an atmosphere of warmth, kindness, and peace.

Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Hotel and room were clean. Lovely pool setting, regrettably the weather wasn't inviting for a swim. Good breakfast. Nice firm bed.

Le restaurant propose d'excellents plats et un très bon petit déjeuner. Le personnel est absolument adorable. La vue de l'hôtel est magnifique.

Les espaces communs sauna et spa annoncés pourraient être améliorés et sont très anciens.

Ficamos no quarto com o jacuzzi e foi incrível! Vista, comodidades, limpeza, privacidade e o restaurante é muito muito bom!

Cons:

A localização é no topo de uma montanha e há partes sem luz. Se tiver motorista não há problema mas no meu caso que estávamos em self drive foi um pouco complicado. Também é isolado por isso qualquer coisa que se precise tem de se ir de carro.
A piscina era óptima mas por ter tanta vegetação tinha uns sapinhos lá dentro

Pros:

Great views, perched on the top of a hill, so you can experience some great morning mist/ on top of clouds experience. Views are great and green. Food was very good too. Staff was great and extremely helpful.

Beliggenheden i forhold til beskrivelsen på jeres hotelsider stemmer ikke overens.
Vi lejede det fordi der i beskrivelsen står at det ligger i centrum.
Hvilket er langt fra virkeligheden. Liger langt uden for byen. Oppe i “bjergene”.
Men det ligger i smuk natur - skøn udsigt.
Tuk Tuk og Uber ville helst ikke komme og hente os. Det tog hver gang meget lang tid. Vejen til hotellet er rigtig dårlig og hullet.
Vi flyttede ned i Kandy efter et par dage fordi vi så kunne gå til byen ca 300 meter.
En godtgørelse af en art kunne være passende.

God mat. Nydelig landskapelig utsikt. Personale var vennlig og imøtekommende.

Cons:

Vi bodde på Suiten (1) og airconditionen både i stue og på soverom var gammel og bråkte veldig mye - umulig å sove med denne på.
