Prima hotel en goed bed op loopafstand van downtown.

Cons:

Parkeren was duur en de ventilator in de airco kon niet uit. Rond het hotel veel daklozen en drugsverslaafden.

Terrible, chaotic, noisy, cleaning is sloppy

The front desk staff were lovely, as were the bar staff. Helpful and friendly

Cons:

First room not clean, the pool was not clean, generally a lack of attention to detail throughout the hotel. Sloppy. And added to that construction right next to the hotel, causing early morning noise, every morning. Other guests came to my room with their luggage to check in, as they were given to understand that it was their room.

Overpaid nightly and would not recommend this hotel at all.
Pros:

The rooms clean and comfortable

Cons:

Terrible neighbourhood with lots of homeless. Front doors of hotel are locked because of homeless. No luggage carts for unloading, staff was not helpful at check-in, no loading zone. Only one elevator goes to the parkade. Breakfast included was not good.

Clean and nice, but the price was way too high for what they offer
Pros:

The Cannery & Social’s food is absolutely delicious. The view is beautiful except for the construction site next to the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

The bedroom didn’t have enough trash cans (we have a newborn so lots of diapers) and the AC kept on turning on when we switched it off.

Great hotel, too bad about the vagrants
Pros:

We liked this hotel. We visited during Volleyball Canada Nationals for U17 age group. We walked to venue. Parked in the lot across the street. The heartbreaking thing was the homeless people outside- what a shame. Sad to see people struggling.
Everything else about the hotel was good. I used the hotel self-serve laundry. You could buy pods at the front desk for $1 each which is much appreciated, and convenient. The machines are $4 for each load wash, $4 for each load dryer. The free breakfast was good. It was busy during breakfast when we were there. Bed was comfy and pillows were on the softer side. Room was clean.

Very uncomfortable area. Sadly there are homeless drug users everywhere in this area. They are lying passed out and bent over everywhere in this area. It is unfortunate and very disturbing to walk around.

Very bad. Unsecured and uncomfortable.
Pros:

Room could have been more cleaner. Locations surrounding were horrible. Every where drug addict roaming. On Hotel stairs and in the backyard area. It was horrible. Could not walk safely around the location.

Cons:

The location was littered with drug addicts. the surroundings were filthy. Not recommended for anyone.
Travelers dont feel safe and area was made very dirty by the drug addicts.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Homewood Suites. It’s in a great location—it’s easy to walk to the Saddledome and explore downtown and the tower. Warm welcome. The room was spacious, very clean, with a kitchenette. The only downside—and why I gave it a 4—is that we arrived late and it was very cold in the room, and it was hard to adjust the temperature since we went to bed right away. On the first morning, we went down late and there were no more muffins or pastries. On the second day, we didn’t have time for breakfast since we were leaving for an excursion, and on Sunday, breakfast starts later. But despite all that, I recommend it.
