Beautiful heritage oasis
Pros:

All the heritage touches, friendly helpful staff, lush gardens and pool, great location for wandering around Georgetown, complimentary ice cream and drinks, discount for delicious breakfast at sister hotel - highly recommend the nasa lemak and pineapple and lime frappe

Home away from home
Pros:

The rooms are large with atmosphere, complimentary fruit and keepsakes.
Wonderful pool and nyonya afternoon tea on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Staff were great, nothing was a bother for them. Close to hawkers stalls and busy Chulia St. Greenery and trees surround the property.

Cons:

It is noisy at night from the local clubs and karaoke, pack your earplugs or join in.
The windows need to be double glazed, soundproofed.

A gem in George Town!
Pros:

This hotel is super cute with lots of character. It is very well located with good food options nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too.

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again. The room was large lovely, and clean. All of the staff were amazing, always friendly and super helpful. I don’t care much about air conditioning and they provided me with a nice fan. I was able to keep the windows open for good airflow. Very few mosquitoes-the room had a mosquito trap machine. It was very peaceful and quiet-except some evenings when a nearby bar had the music going, but it wasn’t too bad. The pool was nice, had it all to myself most of the time. I even saw a beautiful Dusky leaf monkey at the hotel, he was pretty tame eating leaves and flowers by the pool. No breakfast, but within easy walking distance of many restaurants. They did serve afternoon tea and dessert. Guests can use the kitchen by the pool and can use the silverware plates etc.
I enjoyed watching the students at the school next door practicing for a program and hearing them recite in unison. Perhaps, it was more noticeable because I was on the second floor with the windows open…originally I had hoped to stay at the ground floor-but enjoyed the airflow and being close to the pool and kitchen on the second floor it was very convenient.
Overall a wonderful and peaceful stay while spending much of my time working on the computer.

Great located boutique hotel
Pros:

Cute boutique hotel houses in a heritage building. The staff were super friendly and helpful and despite being in the middle of Georgetown, the property gave off very resort like vibes. Location was close to all the attractions and within walking distance (though the weather makes a few hundred meters feel a lot longer!) They had complimentary afternoon tea and ice cream for the guests. The rooms were also very spacious.

Cons:

The only downside is that it is close to the bars - you could still hear the bass from neighbouring bars at night. However I felt like the air conditioner muffled a lot of the noise. If you stay on the lower level, you can also hear the upper level noise when they move around. Water pressure in the shower in my room could also be improved.

Love to be back
Pros:

Room is spacious, beautiful decoration
Staffs were very attentive and friendly.
Great location, easy access to town by walking.
The bed is firm which we like it.

Cons:

Noise from neighbors at night until late night was very disturbing and super difficult to sleep. The hotel provided earplugs but didn’t help much. Perhaps next trip we must avoid weekend.
Shower set could be improved in order to get better water pressure.

Superb experience staying in Muntri Grove!
Pros:

Room is spacious. The whole place is clean and very well-maintained. Lots of power socket/plug. The refrigerator is cold. Overall, is was a superb experience. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower. Hopefully they upgrade to a better one.

Chic and a hidden gem hotel at downtown Penang
Pros:

Very centric to most of the tourist spots, and there are some good bars and restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Though there's a bar in front of the hotel which is very busy and loud at weekends, the hotel provides the earplugs. All the staffs are very polite and very helpful, definitely will come back next time.

Cons:

If the wifi connection can be improved, it'll be perfect. The smart TV cannot connect to the internet from time to time. Still it's not bothering my stay at this hotel.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Munti Grove! The staff was very friendly and gave us suggestions for nice breakfast and dinner locations. The room was clean and spacious, and the pool was refreshing. There is indeed some noise from a nearby bar, but nothing we couldn't sleep from.

Un havre de paix dans le cœur historique de Georgetown
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé en plein centre historique, dans une impasse plutôt calme. Belle chambre spacieuse et très agréable (point bonus pour les WC séparés, rare et appréciable dans une chambre d'hôtel), belle et grande piscine. Un immense merci à tous les membres du personnel qui ont été aux petits soins et de bons conseils durant notre séjour !
