The stay was a romantic oasis in a historically rich area. The pool was beautiful and necessary. The complimentary icy poles were a bonus. Rooms were clean and spatious. Garden was lovely. Birds chirping was serene.

All the heritage touches, friendly helpful staff, lush gardens and pool, great location for wandering around Georgetown, complimentary ice cream and drinks, discount for delicious breakfast at sister hotel - highly recommend the nasa lemak and pineapple and lime frappe

The rooms are large with atmosphere, complimentary fruit and keepsakes.
Wonderful pool and nyonya afternoon tea on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Staff were great, nothing was a bother for them. Close to hawkers stalls and busy Chulia St. Greenery and trees surround the property.

This hotel is super cute with lots of character. It is very well located with good food options nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again. The room was large lovely, and clean. All of the staff were amazing, always friendly and super helpful. I don’t care much about air conditioning and they provided me with a nice fan. I was able to keep the windows open for good airflow. Very few mosquitoes-the room had a mosquito trap machine. It was very peaceful and quiet-except some evenings when a nearby bar had the music going, but it wasn’t too bad. The pool was nice, had it all to myself most of the time. I even saw a beautiful Dusky leaf monkey at the hotel, he was pretty tame eating leaves and flowers by the pool. No breakfast, but within easy walking distance of many restaurants. They did serve afternoon tea and dessert. Guests can use the kitchen by the pool and can use the silverware plates etc.
I enjoyed watching the students at the school next door practicing for a program and hearing them recite in unison. Perhaps, it was more noticeable because I was on the second floor with the windows open…originally I had hoped to stay at the ground floor-but enjoyed the airflow and being close to the pool and kitchen on the second floor it was very convenient.
Overall a wonderful and peaceful stay while spending much of my time working on the computer.

Cute boutique hotel houses in a heritage building. The staff were super friendly and helpful and despite being in the middle of Georgetown, the property gave off very resort like vibes. Location was close to all the attractions and within walking distance (though the weather makes a few hundred meters feel a lot longer!) They had complimentary afternoon tea and ice cream for the guests. The rooms were also very spacious.
