Location was very convenient here. We liked the full breakfast. The staff was also accommodating and upgrade us to a "Superior room" free of charge.
The photos on booking.com showed mostly newly renovated rooms. The rooms we were offered were not newly renovated but we did get a free upgrade to a larger "superior room" with a view and we enjoyed our stay.

All Cleethorpes hotels are quite pricey
The room was very clean . Great location.
The room was in some places in poor condition . The pillows are very uncomfortable and very hard .
Breakfast was delicious; we had the full English with toast and it was just the right size. We didn't get to experience the bar but it looked absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The decor was gorgeous and everywhere immaculately clean. Bed was super comfortable and I was so thankful for the opening window and the fan - they set Dolphin Rooms apart. Shower was very nice and hot too.
Tiny things. Pepper and salt shakers would be better; we had just 1 pepper sachet between 2 people. Could have done with a slightly bigger table in our room for laptop/mouse and a fridge would have been the icing on the cake, especially in such hot weather, to be able to have a cold water in the night and first thing. Staircase to the room was a lovely modern wood but a little hard for me with bad eyesight - marking the edges of steps in a different colour would help. The only other thing was that online when I booked it gave checkout time as 12:00 (part of reason I chose Dolphin Rooms) but confirmation then said 11:00 - that was a little frustrating.

Shower could do with all the seals replacing as it had mould in it.
