The rooms were clean, easy exits, staff were very nice, very good parking area and it’s surrounded with gym, restaurant and it has very good view around the hotel
The breakfast was really good worth the slightly higher price since we didn't have to leave the building
The rugs in the hallway were pretty dirty differently we're clean in a while

The hotel was very good and I would have given it a higher scoring, except for a couple of things.
The breakfast was exceptional! The rooms were clean and the hotel overall, of a high standard, so I felt that it was good value for the money.
The check-in process was clunky and I had to wait an extraordinary amount of time to receive the keys to the 2 rooms I had reserved. The young man at the front desk kept apologizing for the delay, because he was using a cell phone to do my check in, but had to wait at the mercy of the other 2 women at the front desk who were checking in their clients via the hotel PCs.
In addition to this concern, the hotel was advertised as "dog friendly." I had even written to the hotel in advance about my travelling with my dog. They did not inform me prior to my arrival that this was not a hotel who could accommodate dogs.
They made an "exception" and allowed my dog to stay. Because they are not dog friendly, there were no places anywhere around this hotel to walk my dog and have him relieve himself, other than the concrete driveway.
I see the next question and so in advance i have to explain my response here....The room and hotel itself were exceptional, but I have to say that it did not meet my expectations because it was touted online as a dog friendly hotel when clearly it is not.

No complaints at all
Siempre que vamos a Durango que es muy seguido nos quedamos ahi, nos gusta mucho por la ubicacion y relación calidad - precio, las camas son muy comodas y los cuartos muy espaciosos
Es la primera vez que nos pasa que el desayuno estaba HORRIBLE, de verdad que era imposible comerse, super salado todo, no habia buena variedad, una de las razones de quedarnos ahi es porque incluye desayuno, pero esta vez SUPER DECEPCIONO, cero recomendado incluir el desayuno del hotel, mejor salir a desayunar fuera
