Very enjoyable and comfortable
Pros:

We didn't have breakfast
The rooms were clean and not too expensive. They were next to each other. We were able to walk to the garage for some snacks etc
We were pleased with the service

Needs refurbishing and a clean - but convenient location
Pros:

Convenient location for travelling to the ferry terminal in Portsmouth and the bedding was clean. Staff were also friendly.

Cons:

Room had a very strong musty smell(number 39)grout around the bath had black mould on it. The stand up fan was covered in dust. The strip light in the bathroom was flashing and couldn’t be used it was the only lighting in the toilet. Under the carpet felt like there were holes in the flooring.

Cheap, comfy stay
Pros:

Friendly receptionist. The hotel does what it says - cheap, no frills hotel at services. Just what I needed for an overnight stop on way to my daughters. Bed was comfy. It was quiet and it was clean. Can’t ask for more really!

Cons:

Nothing - apart from an ideal world, I would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a bath with shower over it. (I knew that was what was in the room due to the description)

The good the bad the ugly
Pros:

Easy friendly Quick check in ...location was good ...reception area was well maintained and decorated with flowers..and bedding plants..I needed a secure area to park my motorcycle..and they obliged so it was in view of the desk...but out of the way of the entrance for safety.Tea And coffee in the room...clean sheets and a comfortable bed ...the room was warmed up with the heater so not bad.

Cons:

Well, it is an old motel and in desperate need of a refurbishment...everything is tatty and worn out..and they carpets are dirty ...bathroom is shabby and not very clean in places...it needs refurbishment...
I don't blame the staff they are doing a great job ..

Budget hotel but beats some more expensive competitors.
Pros:

Surpassed my expectations. Calm efficient staff. Plenty of free parking. Tea & coffee in the room. WiFi was good. Powerful hot shower. All at a very reasonable price close to the road network. Will definitiely try a Days Inn again.
