Leider zu wenig Möglichkeiten zum Lüften.
It has everything you need. It’s clean and humble and nicely laid out. The bathrooms are really clean with fresh tiles and nice amenities. It’s in a beautiful, small village five minutes walk from the beach.
Sometimes some of the guests listen
to their TVs too loud, and I can hear it through my window.
Location was exellent, quiet but good selection of restaurants, cafes and essential shopping all nearby, as was the beach. A further 10 to 15 minutes walk away, the Gorey harbour area had further eateries and bars, all overlooked by the impressive Mount Orguiel Castle. While still only 10 minutes drive into St. Helier.
Room was good size although starting to show its age, for example the window blinds were damaged and need replacing and the curtains were far too heavy for summer weather. Fridge, strangely located in the wardrobe, was a little noisy, as were the floorboards!
The bathroom was large, had been refurbished recently and was clean. Only issue was the blinds (see above).
Excellent guest lounge with large TV and comfortable chairs.
Staff generally friendly and helpful.
During our stay the bed in our room was not made for a couple of days, we had straightened the bedding but it was easy to see it hadn't been made.
Breakfast was fine, the english self serve buffet breakfast was good; the croissansts and pain au chocolates were very good; coffee was plentiful and very good; only the cereals were disappointing, all from a major brand name with too much sugar.
Quality of the room, looking tired and worn.
Limited parking onsite and only suitable for small cars.
Every thing was perfect nice clean hotel very friendly staff and the breakfast was fantastic judging by the taste they obviously never went for the cheap items
Well they only have room for 5 car parking spaces but we lucky every time we returned we had a space

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge rund um die Insel. Eine Bushaltestelle ganz in der Nähe. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Frühstück ist ausreichend.
Comfortable hotel

Breakfast is generous and varied, not just English breakfast. A real treat. The hotel is Victorian and charming. The staff helpful and engaging. Lots of people came for the week. It already has a good reputation.

The breakfast was very good. There was something for everyone. Fresh fruit yoghurts full English croissants.The staff were efficient friendly and helpful.

Great location very close to wonderful beach, very warm welcome from the all team . Rooms are nice and clean. Comfy beds, decent shower. Lovely breakfast, even facilities to heat up takeaways if you don’t fancy eating out all the time and a dining room to eat them in. There is a small roof terrace to enjoy a pre dinner drink or sundowner. (Wine bought from Morrisons practically next door )
Easy walk along prom to bars and restaurants along with local shops and eateries right by the hotel. All in all a lovely place to stay and would highly recommend.
Aircon not available but fans in rooms. We were there when it was particularly hot.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and excellent variety.
Bed was a bit too firm for use, but that's a personal preference.
The location in Gorey is very good; Gorey itself is lovely and the transport links to the rest of the island are excellent. The rooms are well appointed and clean, with super ensuite facilities. The staff are very friendly and hard-working, especially at breakfast time. The buffet breakfast is very good.
Air conditioning would be nice as the rooms do get warm, but there is a fan which does help. The mattress in room 208 is ready for replacement as it sags a little on one side, but was still comfortable enough.
It was inviting and clean and comfortable. Great location .
