No AC, no gym
Room was excellent, sadly didn't eat at the venue but the bar was very nice.
Everything was excellent apart from a rather sad breakfast at 9.30. i.e the friend eggs had been sitting there for a long time and there was no offer of freshly cooked ones. Also the coffee machine was out of milk - when this was replenished there were no coffee beans, so the breakfast was a disappointment. Additionally the table tops were very sticky.

Eight of us stayed on two of the hottest days ever. The new rooms with air conditioning were fantastic. The older ones without air-conditioning were obviously very warm! Staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was good didn't try the restaurant or golf courses but will come back for both. Golf courses looked in prime condition.
See above about air-conditioning. Breakfast service was a bit random at times.
Rooms are spacious, shower was high spec and bathroom area really clean. Little things like water, biscuits and coffee bags are nice touches. We ate in the clubhouse, food was good and service excellent. Bar staff really friendly
No negatives
Aircon, shower, pillows, parking all great and the golf course looked inviting
Bed seemed a liitle firm, a few miles out of the city, drinks at bar a bit pricey

Beautiful location and the staff were absolutely incredible, especially the local legend and all round wonderful lady Tracey, who after the restaurant closed popped into town for two hungry and weary travellers (us) to organise a Chinese takeaway - she saved our whole day and we are eternally grateful. Thank you so much Tracey!

No air con in the room. Fan provided didn’t do anything for the size of the room. Extremely uncomfortable on one of the hottest nights.
