Pros:

Η ατμόσφαιρα του ξενοδοχείου: αίσθηση παλιάς Βιέννης. Ευγενέστατο κ εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό (το καλύτερο προσωπικό που συνάντησα στην πόλη έχοντας αλλάξει άλλα δύο ξενοδοχεία). Πολύ κοντά σε μέσα συγκοινωνίας κ αξιοθέατα (Karslplatz). Για πάρκιγκ εφόσον έχετε όχημα μια καλή έρευνα θα σας δώσει την οικονομική λύση που επιθυμείτε κ μόλις παρκάρετε ξεχάστε το. Περπατήστε-περπατήστε, η απόσταση για το κέντρο της πόλης είναι αστεία θα βγείτε κερδισμένοι από κάθε άποψη.

Disappointing but could be worse.
Pros:

Good reception, but breakfast service uncomfortable.

Cons:

We don’t understand why the amount we paid for 4 nights was so much higher-even allowing for taxes- than the rate the hotel advertised this week. Booking.com must be taking a significant commission and should be transparent. Moreover, the IT system seems insecure as a scammer asked for the amount already paid on our next stop at the cocoon in Salzburg, also booked through booking.com

Shhhhh....dont tell anyone.
Pros:

Remarkable, classic hotel. Sophisticated yet approachable, it is equally comfortable whether you're dressed for an evening at the opera or returning from a day of sightseeing in walking shoes.
The rooms are smaller than those found in many newer hotels, but they are remarkably comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. The large windows that open fully are a rare luxury and make the rooms feel much larger, brighter, and more welcoming.
I stumbled upon this hotel somewhat by accident, but as a frequent visitor to Vienna, it has become my new go-to choice. Several tram lines stop just outside the door, making it easy to reach nearly any part of the city.
An additional highlight is the excellent historic restaurant on the ground floor. With large windows opening onto a human-scaled street, it is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, dinner, or a glass of wine while watching daily life unfold against the backdrop of Vienna's extraordinary architecture.
What ultimately sets Hotel Erzherzog Rainer apart is not just the building itself, but its atmosphere. It feels authentically Viennese without being pretentious, elegant without being intimidating, and comfortable in a way that encourages you to linger.
I hesitate to write such a glowing review because I would very much like to be able to find a room here on future visits. Nevertheless, the hotel, its staff, and its long history deserve the praise.
Vienna offers no shortage of excellent places to stay, and I have stayed in many of them. If Hotel Erzherzog Rainer is available and within your budget, do not pass it by.

Cons:

There's one breakfast staff person that made me feel unwelcome BUT the others made up for it. The breakfast is so spectacular it's easy to disregard the attitude.

Ideal for visiting Vienna's tourist attractions.
Pros:

Excellent location with a tram stop nearby and plenty of places to eat in easy walking distance. (The Wieden Bräu pub has very good beer and food.) Breakfast was very good, with some nice day to day variation in what was offered. Coffee, pastries, choice of bread were all excellent. Our room on the top floor was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable.

Tolles Hotel mit großartiger Lage!
Pros:

Wir hatten eine wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel. Die Lage für einen Städtetrip ist perfekt. Die Ausstattung, das Team, Frühstück und auch Restaurant waren großartig. Wir können das Hotel in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Hervorragende Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück, komfortable Zimmer. Zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Annehmlichkeiten machen kleine Mängel in den Zimmern mehr als wett.

Parkmöglichkeit. Es war zwar eine Parkmöglichkeit vorhanden, aber das dafür zusätzlich € 35 anfallen, wurde nirgends erwähnt.

Fantastisk stad med lugnt tempo många sevärdheter och väl fungerande kollektivtrafik.
Pros:
