Big and comfortable room and bar area with darts and pool table
Needed more darts
The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is dated and there is a smell of damp in places. The location is stunning, the grounds are beautiful. It is ideal for a romantic getaway or for families… we had 2 rooms with 2 adults and 2 children in each and there was plenty of space, the rooms are massive.
The breakfast was the biggest down side to the hotel. It was £10 for an adult and £7 for a child. There is limited selection for breakfast and what there is there was very basic. We were told breakfast was 7-10 so got down at 9:30, but everything was cleared away at 10! We weren’t asked if anyone wanted more coffee or juice before it was taken. I would definitely save the money and go elsewhere where for breakfast.

We love a selection of fruit ie. Bananas, tinned peaches or pears, prunes. Some hotels have offered those and people look for just a continental breakfast. We love cappuccino with our breakfast so we miss having that choice.
We miss choice of vegetables as well.
Stunning location with fab views and very friendly staff.
The food was very over priced and not the quality you would expect for the price. They did have the football on till late which meant English fans up till late shouting and drunk so not much sleeping.

I liked everything, the venue and grounds for my daughters wedding were spectacular but the staff were amazing.

TV didn’t work, didnt have another room available nor another TV. Room was very hot, we opened a window but a fan would have been nice.

Bathroom excellant felt safe from risk of falls. Relaxed atmosphere, ground floor room. Comfy bed, peaceful. Nice welcome abd ease of booking in. Nice location. Liked everything will return.

Ich habe für 4 Drinks an der Bar £74 bezahlt! Auf die Frage, ob ich eine Rechnung mit Preisen bekommen kann hat man mir gesagt, der Preis sei in Ordnung. Zum Vergleich: 4 Essen und 4 Biere waren £94!
Location was lovely, and breakfast included made it decent value for money. Lots of parking spaces. Has an EV charging point.
Room (7) was very hot all the time even though the heating wasn’t on. Mattress not very supportive.
Decor a little dated and bathroom fittings were in need of attention, shower water pressure was poor. EV charger costs more than those in car parks in town. Staff were polite but could be more engaged and there was no offer of help with luggage up the stairs and it lacked a welcoming atmosphere.
