Super freundliches und total hilfsbereites Personal. Super Lage um die Fähre von Pembroke nach Rosslare zu nehmen. Ruhiges Anwesen mit einem riesen Außengelände.
Lovely area
Clean, with friendly and kind staff
Room was perfect size and clean
The area was fantastic and it was quiescence. We could rest as we expected.
Breakfast was good self service or kitchen service depending on level of occupation.
Evening meals were just OK but the restaurant was very busy when we ate, as a party of eight.
Beautiful setting in the countryside.
The room was very hot but we visited during a heatwave so that can’t be helped
Nice place with a beautiful view of the country.
Breakfast was ok. There is tea kettle in the room.
Rooms (during he heat wave) were incredibly hot. There was no air conditioning, and only on the second night we got a fan (which do help a little bit but no much):
In terms of staff we felt that some didn't really care so much about the customers visiting the hotel. They could have shown a bit more motivation.
To go to a restaurant you need to drive a couple of miles by car, and even the choice is no overwhelming.
Very quiet hotel. Plenty of parking. Menu needs a little sorting ax some items not available. Staff very polite and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. A few things need a little tweak but overall a very pleasant stay.
Some items not available on the menu so I was a bit limited. However meals were of a good portion. I didn’t go hungry.
The breakfast was extremely good the grounds outside we're beautiful
I believe the hotel and staff were wonderful
Breakfast excellent
Evening meal excellent
Staff very accommodating
Squeaky floors and cold water was actually hot.
Staff very attentive and helpful, location and grounds excellent, property interesting and comfortable.
Food was just OK
Staff was very friendly and helpful, and it's a really beautiful location. I'd come back for the location alone but would avoid when too hot.
The breakfast wasn't great and choices felt very limited.
The rooms don't have air con so I'd advise against staying here during heatwaves as rooms get quite hot.
Soundproofing could also be better between rooms but quite a common issue in most hotels really.
It was very clean and very good staff
A long way from town
Big and comfortable room and bar area with darts and pool table
Needed more darts
The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is dated and there is a smell of damp in places. The location is stunning, the grounds are beautiful. It is ideal for a romantic getaway or for families… we had 2 rooms with 2 adults and 2 children in each and there was plenty of space, the rooms are massive.
The breakfast was the biggest down side to the hotel. It was £10 for an adult and £7 for a child. There is limited selection for breakfast and what there is there was very basic. We were told breakfast was 7-10 so got down at 9:30, but everything was cleared away at 10! We weren’t asked if anyone wanted more coffee or juice before it was taken. I would definitely save the money and go elsewhere where for breakfast.
Excellent, very clean hotel, friendly staff, beautiful gardens to enjoy. Location was perfect for us.
We love a selection of fruit ie. Bananas, tinned peaches or pears, prunes. Some hotels have offered those and people look for just a continental breakfast. We love cappuccino with our breakfast so we miss having that choice.
We miss choice of vegetables as well.
Stunning location with fab views and very friendly staff.
The food was very over priced and not the quality you would expect for the price. They did have the football on till late which meant English fans up till late shouting and drunk so not much sleeping.
