Pros:

I had a great stay at Tropic Inn, much because of the resident manager Thuan and his lovely staff. They really went above and beyond to accommodate for their guests, and always had the kindest smiles! The location is great as there are so many restaurants and shops nearby, as well as just a short walk to the beach. Wifi is stable and good, and they have a solid menu if you want to dine in. Rooms are comfortable with both ACs and fans. Really good value for money, and will definitely stay again if going back to Mount Lavinia.

There was a clear miscommunication regarding the requirement for local guests to provide both national identity documents. No proper communication was given by the hotel management prior to check-in, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and confusion. It would be much better if the hotel clearly informed guests about all mandatory identification requirements in advance to ensure a smoother experience.

Aufenthalt über 3 Nächte. Die Lage ist top - nur 5 Min Fußweg zum wunderschönen Mount Lavinia Beach. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut und das Hotel ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Das Personal war MEGA-freundlich und hat mir immer ein TukTuk in die Stadt innerhalb von wenigen Minuten besorgt. Mit dem TukTuk ist man in 20 Minuten in der Innenstadt und ich habe es sehr genossen, schnell in der City zu sein und gleichzeitig abseits vom Trubel der Großstadt entspannt zu übernachten.

Останавливались тут дважды. Небольшой, но уютный отель в колониальном стиле. В номере есть все необходимое: полотенца, мыльные принадлежности, кондиционер, вентилятор. Персонал внимательный. Второй раз мы приехали на день раньше брони, и нас без проблем заселили.
Отдельно хочу отметить ресторан отеля: помимо национальной кухни в нем имеются блюда европейской кухни и морепродукты, всë очень вкусно приготовлено, и по сравнению с ценами в других ресторанах - недорого

Great little hotel in Mt Lavinia
Pros:

Good size, clean, ensuited rooms with a fridge and kettle. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Very minor complaint - the foyer, hallways and shared areas were hot.

Very comfortable and convenient at a great price.
Pros:

Great location a short walk rom the beach. Very easy to get tuk-tuks to go further afield. Really helpful and friendly staff. Didn't try the restaurant but it looked good. Price was excellent value.

Très bien situé à 200 mètres de la plage. Chambre avec tout le confort. Personnel accueillant.

Cons:

Ma chambre avait une fenêtre qui donnait sur un mur. Un peu flippant à l’arrivée.
