Azores outdoorsy trip.
Pros:

I honestly didn't expect to love this hotel.

It's actually perfect for the island. You can affordably valet your car every day, and the hotel is so well located to the highway so that you can get out on the road to all of the island so easily.

It's not quite downtown but it's close enough that most restaurants are in walking distance, and all restaurants are within scooter distance.

Cons:

The property is great and its location is good! The surrounding area is a little off putting but it really doesn't matter.

Such great service. A good buffet, friendly staff and great comfort and cleanliness. I will recommend to everyone.

מלון מפנק ביותר
עם תודעת שירות גבוהה במיקום מצויין.
ממש על המרינה הנשקפת מתוך החדר.
הגענו למלון וצוות מסביר פנים קיבל אותנו.
החדר היה מסודר למופת ועל המיטה חיכו לנו 2 כובעים ותיק לים.
בכל פעם שחזרנו מטיול, החדר סודר שוב ומשהו אחר חיכה לנו: פירות עם מכתב
עוגיות מתוקות.
החדרנית היתה עוברת בערב ושואלת האם משהו חסר ומפנקת

ארוחת הבוקר מושקעת ביותר.
יש מגוון גדול של לחמים, עוגות, פירות, גבינות, מאפים, תבשילים, משקאות כולל מיצי ירקות לdetox, ריבות, גרנולה, הכל ברמה גבוהה.
יש שף מיוחד המכין חביתות משובחות ומפנקות ברמה גבוהה
אני שאוכלת רק פירות בבוקר, ביקשתי להצטייד בקופסה על מנת להכין לי משהו להמשך היום ונעניתי בחיוב וחיוך מדי בוקר.
נחמד ביותר ועיף להגיע למקום כזה
זה גם צמוד למרינה ממנה היינו אמורים לצאת לסיור צפיה בלווייתנים. ממש מרחק הליכה ברגל - חוצים את הכביש
וגם 7-10 דקות הליכה למרכז העיר ברגל

Pros:

Team was excellent- taking care of every detail! And they made it special for our wedding anniversary and my birthday. Very sweet!

We would stay in Octant again.
Pros:

All the rooms are facing the ocean. A wonderful breakfast spread. We really enjoy the food. The stuffs are exceptionally helpful.

Not much.

We stayed out first and last night in Azores. Had the room with the bunk bed night one and family room on our last night
Pros:

Location- loved watching the boats and the city life from balcony.
Breakfast- best breakfast we had in the Azores
Staff- very friendly and always available
Hat- my husband wears it in Vermont
Spa- relaxing and nice change of pace

Stay was ok, but price doesn't match the quality of the hotel at all
Pros:

Very good location, decent breakfast. Friendly front desk / lobby staff.

Cons:

Extremely poor noise isolation - we could hear the neighbours talk (and do other things) very clearly.
Blinds didn't fully close, which is not great with most rooms facing south east.
Mildly incompetent / unfriendly staff at the restaurant (breakfast).

I recommend the Octant especially if you plan to use it as a base to drive to nearby destinations.
Pros:

I enjoyed the location, the staff attentiveness, the breakfast, the cleanliness, the rooftop bar, and the conveniences offered. I usually don't stay in hotels this nice but when I do, they seldom provide the amount of attention to details like the Octant does.

Cons:

Our experience here was delightful with the exception of one small complaint. When arriving tired and bit frazzled I was told the nearest good restaurant was 15 min away. Later, I found an excellent one across the street. Their parking is very small and tight. They do offer valet.
