Pros:

Good location near water and downtown

Cons:

Access via a rear lane way and rooms were neither cleaned well nor easy to use the controls. It looks great but the delivery was a bit underwhelming

Friendly staff & spacious rooms
Pros:

Great location in Coal Yard with very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious rooms with all the amenity required... walk in shower, water, coffee tea making & toiletries.

Cons:

Entry was in a laneway and we were not advised of this. Pool was apparently a nightclub which was interesting.

We were upgraded to a nicer room.

Cons:

The top sheet of the bed had dried blood stains when we arrived. And we were woken at 2am to loud gurgling noises coming from the toilet and bathtub apparently from a clog in the room below us.

Amazing family vacation
Pros:

We took our first family vacation in twenty years together for mums birthday (mom, dad, sister and myself) and booked The Paradox on a friends recommendation. It was beyond our expectations! The building is beautiful, the rooms spacious (get the balcony, it’s worth it) and the staff were amazing! It was a wonderful 3 days. My sister and I are heading back down there to stay again for her 40th this coming long weekend and can’t wait!
