Pros:

De service, en de medewerking aan onze 39ste huwelijksdag. Mijn man had samen met een medewerker onze dag ingevuld met verrassingen voor mij. Helemaal top. Ontbijt op onze kamer helemaal lekker, diner in het restaurant van het hotel, ook heerlijk. Personeel heeft onze trouwdag heel bijzonder gemaakt.

Cons:

Het geluid in de kamer, er zoemde, piepte iets waar we geen vinger op konden leggen. Heel irritant, vooral als je wilt slapen en het in de buurt van je hoofd zoemt. Hebben het niet gemeld, hadden we wel moeten doen. Gezien de prijs van de kamer. En het uitzicht, zaten op de 6de etage, hadden upgrade gekregen zeiden ze naar kamer met balkon, op zich fijn maar je keek uit op kantoor naast hotel. 9 jaar geleden zaten we hier ook, maar op de 16de of hoger, weet niet meer zo goed. Maar aan de andere kant en dan heb je een veel beter uitzicht. Dus vond het niet echt een upgrade, daar er niet gezegd werd wat we anders hadden gekregen.

Everything was amazing. The room, staff, service, pool, breakfast. We had a great four nights here and will never forget it. The hotel is very luxurious. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The service was very nice.

Karma Lounge vibe with scantily clad young girls serving cocktails (what year is it?) and then the walls are full of TVs showing sport.

Short stay during transit to an Alaska cruise. Will visit again for longer.
Pros:

Great facility and room. Convenient location. Clean. Pretty quiet during days but has nice nighttime vibes for the younger crowd. There are good on-site food options. Attentive staff. Highly recommend The Paradox. Vancouver is a great walkable city.

One of the most comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed. From the cleanliness, the food and more importantly the staff. First time I was actually able to sleep soundly in a hotel room. First time ever felt comfortable using shower.

Amazing staff and hotel
Pros:

Excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff (Saksham on reception, for example). I arrived early in the morning from an overnight flight & was upgraded to a nicer room that was available straight away. A great experience!

From the moment we checked into the hotel until we left, we were met by friendly hotel staffers. Thank you, Alisha for the helpful info at pre-check in, Geoff who made us feel so welcomed and everyone just goes out of their way to make our vacation memorable. Really appreciate the warm vibe here. Photo is of hot tub and outdoor lounge area next to the pool, a great space.

Excellent experience!
Pros:

The Paradox Vancouver is such a beautiful, clean, reasonably priced hotel and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the cruise terminal and easy to get to from the Vancouver Airport. We took hop on/off Big bus tour of the city which was a great way to visit the sites. Our tour guide, Sherry was so informative and has a great sense of humor. We would definitely recommend staying at the Paradox and taking the Big Bus!
