Pros:

Clean, comfortable rooms with all amenities provided. Toilets have rain showers which I loved. Good view of the street from the window.

Cons:

No USB C charging ouets. Only USB A.

Reception not covered when we checked in. We had less than 10 minutes to navigate our car to the parking facility. Reception was empty so we waited 20 minutes to be checked in….

Value for money and secure comfort in the heart of the city
Pros:

The room was a good size with an excellent bed, small table and desk. The tv worked well and internet was very easy to use. The staff were excellent at every interaction. A central location made it very easy to move around the lovely city of Perth with lots of options for entertainment and food. Great sized shower and tucked away toilet.

Cons:

Although I enjoyed my stay, I did find the air conditioning unit a little hard to understand. It was difficult to set it to the right temperature and at the right mode. The fan was also noisy so I turned it off at night which made the room a little warm but not too uncomfortable. This could just be my deficiency though so not some thing that would turn me off another stay.

Provided the wrong room for 2 days which was hugely disappointing, when that was resolved it was a great stay
Pros:

Female reception staff were so friendly and helpful but the two male main members were surely and disappointing. My main problem was that I called 3 days prior to arriving and asked for a high room. I was promised a room on the 16th floor facing the city. On arrival I was put on the 14th floor facing the Shell office. I complained on day 2 and they moved me after the second night up to the 16th floor into a much bigger room (the room style I actually booked) which had a much wider range of tv channels. Having booked for 13 nights it was really disappointing to have been so poorly treated in this way and let down for the first couple of days but the younger, European female receptionist in particular resolved and changed the room eventually and the rest of the stay was good.

Not what I paid for. The manager was useless.
Pros:

Really should not be this hard!

Booked an Executive Room. Listed as city views and a high floor. Neither was the case. Floor 6 with a view of the adjacent building.

Asked for the room I paid for or a refund so I could book elsewhere.

Neither was given by the inept manager.

So basically was told we will not refund you, but equally we will not give you the room you booked and paid for.

Atrocious service. The Rydges just lost my business, which as a customer who stays at the Rydges 8/9 times a year, feels a miss by them.

Cons:

Abit hard to find as the sign blends into the building. Limited parking at front to check in with luggage.
