Comfy beds, great central location easy walk to train. Station
We booked it because of it location, 8 minute walk to the train station that we used to get to the airport and go to Optus Stadium. Five minute walk to our car hire drop off location and 8-20 minute walks to restaurants, many sights and the Barrack Street ferries. Good size room with great block out curtains. Would stay there again if we go back to Perth.
We were put in a room with a door that could be used to create a double room. We stayed four nights. Night one, the neighbours were really quiet. Nights two and three were different people who had the TV on very loud until very late which wasn’t great as we had early starts to go on tours. On the day 2 morning we put the door sign onto ‘make up our room’ and reported the coffee machine that was leaking everywhere. When we came back that evening, the sign was flipped the other way, who knows how it happened. The room wasn’t made up and the coffee machine was still leaking. We reported it again and asked if we could at least have the bin emptied. They said to leave the bin outside while we went to dinner. We came back two hours later, not only was the bin still full, more rubbish had been added to it. As it was quite late we left it, and reported the issues again the third morning. The room did get cleaned the next day but the coffee machine never stopped leaking despite it being reported twice.
Perfect location, right in the heart of the city. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making our stay enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the staff weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. They rarely made eye contact while speaking with us and seemed more focus on their computer screens than engaging with guests. It felt like they were simply going through the motions rather than providing a warm customer experience. I think there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to customer service and making guests feel welcome.

It was very clean and very spacious. Close to the CBD/ Train station and the staff were very lovely and kept to themselves unless you needed something.
A really easy location with children 7-9. Adjoining 2 single beds to our room that offered no complications. Short walk from the train station. A short walk to city cafes, restaurants and kid friendly pubs.
Check-in was simple, the hotel is conveniently located between the two halves of the CBD. Both receptionists were friendly enough. The rooms are a great size, check-in is easy, the shower / bathroom was reasonably equipped.
The room hadn't been cleaned properly, inc a moldy grape on the floor. The deposit is an excessive $250, which stings if you're on the road for business and swapping hotels frequently; most chains just hold $1, $100 max. It's not luxury enough to justify. They couldn't room service a coffee in the morning, which I found bizarre.
