I traveled with a group of 20 as part of a short-term study abroad program. it was a great accommodation for a large group. The staff was really friendly and helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. There were many, many things they did that made our stay better such as showing us to our rooms, helping get luggage up the stairs and helping us get to a medical clinic when needed. I especially appreciated the spacious bathroom. It would have been fine with out it and was a nice touch.
My favorite part of this resort was that it was right on the beach!
The restaurant was great - a variety of choices with better than expected prices considering we were at a beach resort. It was delicious food - maybe the best Margerita Pizza I've ever had! Our group really enjoyed the fire dancers who go along the beach to different hotels each night.
There was nothhing about this resort I did not like. If I ever travel to Koh Samet again, this will be my number one choice for accommodations. The only thing that could have made my stay go from great to perfect would be a shuttle from the hotel to the ferry pier.
Great location just on the edge of the busy part of the island, and the menu and restaurant are fantastic, as is the breakfast

A bit of a steep walk to rooms from reception area, people with walking difficulties may find it a problem.
the staff did the best they could with what they had to deal with .
The Air conditioning hadn't been cleaned in years it smelt of mould. The sheets hadn't been changed and had stains on the sheets. Yes those kind of stains. The beds were old and very hard. No rooms to eat only eat on the beach, if it rains there is no where to eat breakfast or dinner. Its in the middle of no where so your stuck with this place. the rooms to get to them you have to walk up hills and carry bags up stairs .
The hotel, location and rooms are nice.

Excellent location, near by everything you need, but far enough to get good sleep (rooms in quiet area), beautiful not crowdy beach.

Clean room and powerful aircon
Old fashioned key with big key ring to carry around. Hotel room was up a steep incline and then several sets of steps. Not good in that heat. Bed was uncomfortable and noisy!
