Stayed at the AC Hotel Tempe for the annual Pat's Run. The mobile check in app is not very helpful. Was expecting a text when room was ready but it never came. Upon arrival, Carlos was excellent at the front desk. He was friendly and provided a warm welcome. He was able to accomodate my request for a room on an upper floor and honored my request for a late checkout of 1 PM. That was convenient so we did not need to rush after the run. Parking is in a garage across from the hotel but it was not crowded and not too far of a walk. The room was clean and comfortable. Check out was smooth and overall it was an excellent stay that removed a lot of the stress of attending Pat's Run.
The parking was too complicated for seniors.
Exceptional hotel! The first thing that caught my eye was the amazing bathroom. Great atmosphere and the service personnel were excellent.

Chandler was the absolute BEST waitstaff ! Knew our names, what we liked to order….and the food is amazing.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel’s restaurant for breakfast, and I want to specifically recognize Chandler for his outstanding service.
The breakfast itself was delicious, featuring a small buffet with simple items such as oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast bread, croissants, quality cheeses, and charcuterie, along with made-to-order items that were fresh and satisfying each morning such as cooked eggs and avocado toast. Also, I especially loved the vanilla latte which is the perfect way to start the day.
From the very first day, Chandler made the effort to remember my name, which immediately made me feel welcomed and valued. Even more impressive is that he makes the effort to remember guest's favorite go to breakfast orders.
Chandler consistently went above and beyond with his attentiveness, professionalism, and warm personality. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely dedicated to great customer service.
He is truly a special member of the staff and a big part of why my stay was a fantastic experience. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!
I travel a lot, so when someone stands out it means something. Ronnie at the front desk is outstanding! Professional, positive, and attentive. He makes the simple act of check in feel very personal, always coming out from behind the desk to hand each guest their key in person and provide final individual instructions. A real bright spot at the end of the day when returning to the hotel.
Then there is Grant at the bar. The man knew my name the next evening and greeted me personally by name. It is such a special thing to be greeted by your name when away from home. It make you feel like a VIP.
