Functional rather than enjoyable
Pros:

The property was centrally located and close to the Metro and some fantastic restaurants. The outside pool was great in the 35 degree heat and was kept very clean. For the location and pool it was reasonably priced for Rome in July - anywhere else would’ve cost up to double.

Cons:

I echo most of the reviews on here that it isn’t really a 4 star hotel. 2/3 max with a pool. Felt very outdated, the communal areas and rooms show significant signs of wear. Carpet matching the floor lined the corridor walls for some reason? The breakfast food, particularly the coffee was sub par.

Problème de chasse d’eau les 4 jours du séjours !!!!! L’eau coulait en permanence !!!! Le personnel n a pas pu réparer … Un bruit empêchant de dormir 2 nuits d affilées !!! Le personnel a regardé pour une autre chambre mais tout était plein ! J ai demandé un dédommagement, soit disant qu ils allaient voir avec le manager mais aucun retour ! Très décevant surtout que se sont les seules vacances que je m accordais avec mes enfants !!!!

Telewizor w ogóle nie dzialal, nie mówiąc już o smart tv. Drzwi w łazience otwierają się nie we właściwą strone, co powodowało ze trzeba było pod prysznic wchodzić przez kibel.

Väldigt fint hotell, opersonligt bemötande.
Pros:

Miljön var stilren, fin och avslappnad. Det var ett stort plus att det fanns en svalkande pool på baksidan mitt i juli månad.

Cons:

Jag hade högre förväntningar på receptionpersonalens servicenivå.

När man är på semester och bor på hotell uppskattar man att känna sig välkommen och omhändertagen, snarare än att få känslan av att ens frågor är besvärliga eller onödiga. Ett exempel var under VM-finalen, då hotellets bar stängde tidigt. Vi frågade om det fanns möjlighet att beställa något till rummet, men fick endast ett kort nej, utan någon vidare hjälp eller några alternativa förslag.

Det vi saknade var viljan att hjälpa oss vidare, kanske genom att tipsa om ett ställe i närheten där vi kunde köpa något, eller rekommendera en plats där vi kunde se matchen. Det är ofta de små sakerna och det personliga bemötandet som gör skillnad och får en gäst att känna sig välkommen.

För mig handlar god service inte om att alltid kunna säga ja, utan om hur man bemöter gästen även när svaret är nej. Där hade vi tyvärr förväntat oss mer.

Heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel, schoon hotel, maar van hele teleurstellende kwaliteit!
Pros:

De medewerkers zijn echt allemaal heel vriendelijk en doen enorm hun best. Het zwembad is netjes, schoon, en heerlijk om even in af te koelen na een paar uur in de hete stad.

Cons:

De bedden zijn heel slecht; je voelt de springveren door het matras steken en het bed is te kort. Er is te weinig plek in de badkamer om je toiletspullen neer te zetten, de verlichting is slecht en de glazen douchedeur knalt tegen het bidet als je de deur opent. De gordijnen zijn te smal en kunnen dus niet helemaal dicht. Het ontbijt is echt heeeel slecht; er is veel keuze, maar alles is van slechte kwaliteit. Ei uit een pak, onsmakelijk uitziende vleeswaren en kaas, oud brood, de vruchtensappen zijn gewoon limonade en mierzoet. Hier is nog nooit fruit bij in de buurt gekomen. De koffie is niet te drinken, zo vies. Toen maar een cappuccino besteld, maar die was koud.
De kwaliteit is teleurstellend als je een 4-sterren hotel boekt, en dan vooral voor deze prijs. Dat klopt gewoon echt niet. Echt heel jammer, want het is een mooi pand, maar heeft gewoon echt een investering nodig. Nieuw interieur, andere indeling (waarom gebruiken ze die mooie grote lobby niet beter??), en liever minder keuze bij het ontbijt maar dan wel vers en van goede kwaliteit. Echt heel jammer, maar we komen hier niet terug. Tenzij ze me vragen als interior designer voor hun refurbishment, dan stroop ik mijn mouwen graag op ;-)
