Villa Split Heritage Hotel

We had a wonderful time at Villa Split Heritage Hotel. The property is beautiful and the staff are warm and helpful and friendly. Their breakfast is outstanding. We enjoyed our experiences there and highly recommend it! You will not be disappointed!

Great location

The service, attention to detail, quality, and impeccable recommendations were outstanding. Zoran and Ivona made our stay that much more enjoyable with thier kindness and bright smiles.

Room #4 was well appointed and comfortable for three adult females. Breakfast was included and there were plenty of hot and cold choices. With the hot choices being made at your request.

If choosing this hotel you should be aware that it is noisy at night and there is no elevator. However, these were minor inconveniences and should not weigh heavily on your decision to stay.

The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the Old City. Staff greets you at the taxi drop off area and walks you and your luggage the short distance to the hotel. We had a 5am departure our last day and, Christiaan, the night security clerk carried our luggage down the 4 floors, escorted us to the pick up point, and waited till we were safely on our way.

My travel companions and I are well traveled and would consider Heritage Villa Split to be an excellent choice.

Wonderful hotel right just off the main square in old town. Staff was fabulous- very friendly and helpful.

The loacation of the hotel was perfect, right in the middle of everything.

We stayed here as part of our 30th year anniversary trip. It was a fantastic location within the palace walls. They helped arrange the transport form the airport and day trips with expert guides. From the drop off in old town they brough all our bags to the hotel and up to our room. Same when we left. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The historical building was well maintained, and the modern build inside was a fantastic design maintaining the historical nature of the property. The water pressure was also amazing. Every day was a treat to be so close to everything in old town allowing us to come back and rest any time we wanted during the day but have the flexibility of day trips. We will remember it fondly.

Such a lovely place to stay.
The location is excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room #4 was spacious.
The only downside was the noise very late at night from drunken people down in the street but that’s what you get for an amazing location. We used a white noise maker on our phone the second night and it helped.
We used their service for a car from the airport which seemed very reasonably priced and super helpful to have someone help lug the suitcases across the cobblestones to a hard to find location.
Make sure you’re able to climb stairs as even the reception is up a flight from the street. (Felt bad for the young man who lugged our 50lb suitcases up and down the stairs)

The breakfast was a very nice spread of options plus a few cooked to order options.

Villa Split is a lovely property. The staff is fabulous and goes out of their way to accommodate any request (and anticipate your needs!) we actually stayed at both locations- they are about a block apart. The older building has a lovely courtyard where you can have breakfast or a coffee. the newer building has larger rooms and a common breakfast room. Breakfasts were excellent. Hotel very centrally located. a great experience!

This room was clean, comfortable and beautiful.
The location was perfect for our trip (one night before boarding catamaran) and allowed us to walk and visit Split. The staff was helpful, kind and spoke English well.

Very helpful staff member who came and found me, and helped with luggage! Lovely room, with a great breakfast. Excellent location in the old town, and a good selection at breakfast
