Clean, friendly and the restaurant food is delicious
Restaurant seemed to be the main focus of the team.
No greeting on arrival. Checked in a given key with brief directions to room. Linen on all the sofa’s in reception, towels everywhere on landing and dirty crockery too.
We booked prior to change of management. Hadn’t received any communication to advise this. Booked B&B but no breakfast offered. When I questioned timings for breakfast, I was advised to visit a local cafe that was closed. No apology for inconvenience.
Room wiped down but not clean. Tea & coffee in room enough for 1 cup each despite staying for 2 nights.
Team only seemed interested in restaurant guests. Would have tried restaurant if had a better experience in the hotel.
Wasn’t impressed at all for the price you pay
Very noisy while trying to sleep our rooms seemed like we were right above the restaurant hence the noise windows were dirty cob webs around the windows which hadn’t been cleaned for quite a while the rooms were abit tatty and dark
The shower really impressed me.
Not a conventional shower but a wet room within the room.
The shower head appeared to have quite a bit of limescale build up.
The leg on all bathroom fawcets was also quite long to wait for. Would be beneficial for staff to advise that you'll need to leave the water running for a prolonged period of time before it gets warm/hot
Staff were helpful and explained about late night out of hours process. It worked we returned after midnight and were let in quickly.
Room was a great size, plenty of towels.
Not really a concern, no one there to check us out , but left key at reception.

The property was perfectly located for our weekend at Donnington racetrack,just 15mins up the road.
We paid for 2 nights & that’s what other hotels wanted for just one night closer to Donnington.
The staff were fantastic.Even stored all my ice packs over night for our cool box the next day.
The food was just amazing & very well priced.
It’s the staff that make the biggest impact though,always eager to be of assistance & very friendly.
We booked a delux family room.
Had everything we needed in there & the beds were very clean & super comfortable.
The fact that the food was so delicious we ate in the hotel on both nights we stayed!!

Location
Ripped net curtains in our bedroom. Bedside lights not working. Fan didn’t work. Kettle didn’t work properly. Floorboards were broken and nipped your feet. I’ve got videos and photos of the above if needed
I didn't give top marks on every question, it was much more than ideal, a beautiful building with staff from 1st arriving equally friendly, professional in every way, they organised me a dinner but the dinner will stay in my mind for ever and location is 2 streets away from my new property, amazing staff I'm sure certain even if not here again for a stay I'll be coming back to enjoy the meals.
Well up until now with still couple of hours left of my stay, I can only guess that my dislike if there's a dislike and I know it'll be in a real good memory and I know that we'll pass almost everyday and I'll just hold good experience.
