Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent value.
Pros:

We had an excellent stay at The Grosvenor Plymouth Hotel. I had requested an early check-in, and although there was a small £10 charge, the staff had our room ready within half an hour of the previous guests checking out. It was well worth it, especially as I was travelling with my 7-year-old son.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had good WiFi and a fan, which was appreciated. The bathroom was spotless, and the hotel also offers free parking, which was very convenient.

The staff were friendly. The location is excellent, with easy access to Plymouth Hoe and the city centre. We also found the dining room very useful, as it had a microwave, fridge, and cutlery, allowing us to heat up our own food.

Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly stay. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location next to the Hoe and near town.

Cons:

Room needed a bit extra in cleaning, behind the beds and under the tables for example. Mattresses need changing or adding mattress covers as you can feel the springs. The bathroom needs a bit of tlc.

Team on Reception were professional and friendly.
Room was pretty basic but clean and comfortable.
Location was perfect for local attractions and facilities.

Cons:

Nothing of significance but a bath towel would have been good … I’m sure if id asked I’d have been provided with one !

Pros:

Staff were very helpful. I left behind my phone charger and they contacted me and returned it to me, very happy with this service.

Cons:

Only thing I would have liked improved was the TV channel reception.

Perfectly situated hotel accommodation
Pros:

The hotel was perfectly situated near the Hoe. It was a nice building with a lot of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but it was fine. It had a nice shower, tea and coffee facilities and the biscuits were a nice touch.

Cons:

There wasn't a lot of room whilst walking past the bed to the wardrobe in the corner. You had to be careful not to whack your leg against the corner of the bed. The light bulb was not working in the bathroom for the first two days of my stay but was sorted by the third day. Also someone outside was banging the door continuously at around midnight to 1 am during the week, which kept me awake for a bit. Having said all this I would stay here again as its a good value hotel in a great location.
