Now THIS is a 5* hotel
Pros:

We stayed at Anax for 7 days a week ago and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s very hard to fault. Our room was a beach villa and we got lucky as we got the one with the most privacy, some were straight on the beachfront with people sunbathing in front which personally I wouldn’t have liked. Our room was perfect, huge, amazing jacuzzi, amazing balcony, spotless, incredible amenities, very comfy bed. Slept so well.

The pool are is stunning, the views are stunning it’s such a haven from the hustle and bustle of mykonos.

I think the main thing for us was the food. It was amazing. We had dinner in the hotel a few nights and I am so glad we did, everything was delicious, room service also was fabulous. The sea bass was spectacular. Also the cocktails were all delicious. Breakfast was also fab, one thing I would note is you can order hot food like an omelette but we were not told that so for most of our day we didn’t know and I wish we had been told because that’s something I wanted the entire stay. But it is an option and they are amazing too.

Finally, I just wanted to make a note about the staff round the pool and in the breakfast, those guys running breakfast and delivering room service always smiling. Always kind. Always asking if they can do More and asking how you are. They really made this stay so much more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to literally anyone.

The hotel offers beautiful views, excellent swimming pools, a well-equipped gym, and a range of attractive facilities. The overall property is impressive and has great potential for a relaxing stay.

Cons:

There are a few areas that could be improved. During breakfast, the service was entirely self-service. When I requested a glass of water, I was asked to collect it myself from the bar rather than having it brought to the table. Additionally, special requests outside the standard breakfast offerings could not be accommodated.

The pillows were also unusually large and firm, which made it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep.

With some improvements to guest service and bedding comfort, the overall experience could be significantly enhanced.
