Wish we could stay another night!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, spacious room, right in center of town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very tasty table service breakfast.

Cons:

Couldn’t turn off radiator in bathroom, nearly burned ourselves.

​Breakfast Issue: I booked a room with breakfast included, but at check-in, I was asked for an extra £21. I refused to pay twice, so we ended up not having breakfast at all.
​Noise Disturbance: The room was extremely noisy. The receptionist assured me the noise would stop, but it continued through the window all night. I woke up repeatedly and got no proper sleep.

Great stay in a lovely location with fab staff. Very convenient for what we needed.
Pros:

Location, overall comfort, decor, friendliness & helpfulness of staff and breakfast were all great thank you.

Cons:

Being picky but fridges & air conditioning in all the superior rooms (rather than just some rooms) would be ideal. Fan provided was still very good though thank you very much & very much appreciated. & the points mentioned wouldn’t stop us booking again as overall, stay was perfect for what we needed.

Central and great breakfast
Pros:

Hertford House has a lovely boutique vibe and breakfast is excellent with lots of choice. It was unusually hot weather and some of our group booking had air con. Our room at least had a fan. Staff very helpful. Great central location.

There are social events / private functions on Fri / Sat and this was clearly communicated - although there is some noise it didn't bother us.

Great to have iron, board and hairdryer.

Cons:

A smaller desk would have given more space in the room.

We enjoyed our stay due to the staff and facilities and we are glad we brought earplugs !!
