Peaceful hotel in a peaceful town.
Pros:

Nice location. The building and interior are very beautiful. Even though it’s an old building. Thought we might hear the noise all night. But it’s just opposite. We slept all night long.

Beautiful Heritage Building, Great Bathrooms!
Pros:

The bathrooms were updated, very clean with excellent showers, quality towels

Cons:

The rest was awful. Service was horrendous.Couldn’t eat our dinner, when it arrived 55 minutes after ordering two burgers!

The Bar staff were friendly and competent.

Beautiful historic hotel
Pros:

The location, the building’s heritage, it’s like you’re transported in Jane Austen’s era. We were happy to find that Dame Nellie Melba (‘from Coldstream Victoria - we live close by) has been there. The food was tasty and the staff were helpful

Cons:

The room was rather small and at night it was too noisy from the commercial refrigerator below our room

The history of the hotel and the way it is still in period of that time in the staircase and deco.
The bathrooms great shower.
