Lovely place. Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was clean and the breakfast was delicious 😋
We have stayed here a few times and its a lovely little quiet lodge
We unfortunately had no wifi for our 2 day stay, which was abit of a nuisance
Great location just outside of Durham, easy access for motorways. Great value for money and breakfast was lovely
The staff were friendly and welcoming, we arrived late and they were able to accommodate an evening meal which was great 👍

The breakfast was a disaster...sack the chef!!!!

Completely inedible....horrible breakfast.
Strange though, at our previous evening meal we heard guests at the hotel complaining about the breakfast food....maybe sack your breakfast chef ?!?

Everything was great.
Room was dated and looking a bit grubby. Could do with a upgrade better hotels for money. Only came for wedding .

Toom was onthe smaller side . Was perfectly fine for 1 night
Load music playing with base all the time. No base from DJ and a little quieter would be easier to sleep.
Bad night needs to look into venues away from building
The hotel was thoughtfully designed, modem rooms, absolutely delicious food and the staff couldn't do enough to help.
The cottage was lovely, it felt magical
Not that i didn't like it, i actually loved it but the hot tub could do with some sort of hand rail for stability if my partner wasn't with me i don't think I'd of been able to get out safely on my own with it being so high and nothing to hold on to to ease myself around to the steps
