thin walls, somewhat noisy neighbours, despite advertised quiet time, reception desk not staffed after 10 pm, could not address the noise at that time

Great value for a new Hotel
Pros:

The main beach is only 13 minutes walk from the hotel. Parking is hard to find unless you get there early during the holiday season. Also, there is a Value Store next to the hotel if you forget toothpaste or hair products etc. The free Van Houtte coffe and Tea is a nice touch .

Cons:

Shuttles to the beach for a small fee for guest would be nice .

Pros:

Clean accommodation, comfortable beds! We have travelled from Vancouver, over all a good hotel, nice staff, a shoutout to a young man. Raj.He remembered us from last year and said we were in the same room, lol. He was very kind and took our bags up to our room .. (as we are getting on a bit ) like last year.
Second time at the Amber, a very good hotel !

Cons:

Would like to see instructions on how to use the Kurig Coffee machine. Maybe put a brief notice on the wall. I put a pod in, pressed the lid down, it made noises but it failed to make coffee, so I guess missed a step.

Comfortable rooms with everything you need on vacation or long week excursion.
Pros:

Very clean room and common areas. A free parking spot is available. We had a trailer and had no problem parking close to the hotel. Upgraded rooms with free wifi and fridge. The huge ice machine in the hallway was very helpful to keep our cooler cold while on the beach.

Not worth the money

I liked that it’s close to the beach.

Cons:

What I really didn’t like was that the reality was completely different from the pictures. The rooms were very small, and the seating area for الطعام or coffee was dirty and not well maintained.

I opened the microwave and it looked like it had not been cleaned for years.

Most importantly, there was a lot of noise after 2:00 AM. The staff did not respect the guests while they were sleeping. There was laughing and joking among the workers all night long, and we could not sleep because of the noise.

Also, they force you to pay a security deposit even though the hotel does not contain anything valuable — just basic furniture and a bed.

If I had to rate this hotel out of 10, I would give it only 1/10.
