Would highly recommend the Barceló Torre de Madrid. When we arrived we upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking Monumento a Cervantes. Location is central, close to Gran Via, it gave easy access to all Madrid has to offer. The staff in the hotel go above and beyond and couldn’t be more helpful! The hotel was absolutely spotless and the beautiful decor was modern and tasteful. Room was spacious and the spa offers a pool, with sun lounges on a sunny terrace, which was ideal for some relaxation after a busy day sightseeing. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Everything, the staff very helpful
This is a very smart hotel in a nice part of the city. Easily walkable to the Royal Palace and main shopping areas, and adjacent to Plaza de Espana which is a nice place to drift around at any time of day (decent outdoor bar in the plaza just outside the hotel).
The staff at every encounter were wonderful - helpful and polite and gave the impression they enjoyed working there. It was a special event for my wife and the lady (I think she was possibly the hotel manager) was charming and arranged a celebratory bottle of Cava in our room as well as flowers at the breakfast table. I’d like to pass on my sincere thanks to her again.
Breakfasts were excellent, and the ground floor bar was very smart and relaxing.

My Husband & I stayed at the Barcelo Torre Hotel for 4 days in May 2026. We really liked the convient location which was so central. Breakfast was excellent ( my Husband iscusually is very critical!) Great view from our Bedroon! Rooms clean & comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. We would highly recommend this lovely Hotel to our friends & hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Barceló Torre de Madrid during our trip to Madrid. The room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after long days exploring the city.
The location was excellent — close to Gran Vía and the main attractions, while still being away from the noise and crowds. As a lovely gesture, the hotel welcomed us with a bottle of cava to celebrate our special occasion, which made the experience feel even more memorable.
Everything about the stay felt elegant, peaceful, and well maintained. We would definitely return on a future visit to Madrid.
The hotel was in a perfect position and very easy walking distance to sights we wanted to see. Staff were really attentive and helpful, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
