Gorgeous central historic hotel! Highly recommend as a base in Clon. The second floor room I had was quiet and spacious. Bed seemed to be pretty new, very comfortable. The building is old but kept well and has a warm friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was freshly made. There is also a bar serving hot food until 8.30. The hotel carpark is small but there is further parking just behind it, free overnight plus additional 2 hours free between 9am and 6pm. WE were out all day so this suited us perfectly.

Pros:

Great breakfast each morning. Friendly staff at the front desk greeting you every time you passed. Clean room with comfortable bed. Located in the town center and walkable to everything.

Cons:

The free parking lot is a bit tight but manageable.

ODonovans ,Traditional and fab !
Pros:

The hotel is traditional and quirky- our room was fab, had 3 double beds, very comfortable, very spacious, very clean, had a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, and a microwave. Loads of little seating nooks on the corridors, location is excellent , on the main st, couldnt be better.

Cons:

Nothing, we loved it - its an old traditional hotel, so if u want ultra modern then its not for you. We loved all the old photos of the ODonovan family on the wall, all the historical photos, all the little quirky seating areas .

Lovely place to stay I’d highly recommend it
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Only downside was the Wi-Fi didn’t work very well. And Parking can be tricky.
