Wonderful stay.
Pros:

The location is right on the edge of downtown, great to walk around, while being quiet. There's secured parking. The lovely staff surprised me with an upgraded room. The hotel has a beautiful central courtyard with a large fountain that is open to all floors. Lovely to hear the sound. There's a lively restaurant on premise as well. (I didn't eat there, but it looked good.)

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, and clean spacious room for 2.
Pros:

Was a great location as we were seeing a comedian at the town Hall - right across the road. Beautiful hotel, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the fountain in the middle of the hotel. Our room was roomy, comfy and clean.

Cons:

Only thing I didn't like was there was a slight mini incline in the entrance to the bathroom, so misstep that a couple of times.

Comfortable and very convenient
Pros:

Clean, specious, comfortable, good location, super friendly staff

Cons:

Cabinets were wonky, relatively far from supermarket (1km), noisy (inside doors slamming as well as suitcase wheels echoing over corridor which woke me up every day)

Great location for our needs, will definitely stay again.
Pros:

Friendly greeting on arrival, fantastic rooms in a great location for our needs with Town Hall across the road. Easy walking distance for shops, casino etc. We will definitely choose to stay here next time we are in Christchurch!
