Cons:

Nothing to do with FINO, but it took 3 attempts to "Pay Now" before bookings.com actually took the money. Booking.com have cancelled other bookings on me because they took too long to take the money.

Amazing!
Pros:

We stay here every time we come to Christchurch since we discovered it!! Spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped with everything you could need. Secure parking. Very helpful and friendly staff who make your stay a breeze. Cental to the city with eateries and bars a stones throw away. Lovely place to relax before a show at the Town Hall.

Good value accommodation
Pros:

The accommodation is well located and good value for money. Easy to pick up the tram and an easy walk to Cathedral Square area. The Duty Manager has been very helpful in assisting us with an insurance claim (Air NZ issue, not the hotel!).

Average. A well-worn old hotel in good location with good amenities (restaurant/bar, carpark)
Pros:

Check in guy was friendly.
Room was large with nice view.
Restaurant menu looked good although we didn't have time to eat there.
Good to have a bar in-house.
Carpark was good.

Cons:

Room was VERY tired. well overdue for a refurb. Wall behind the entrance door looked filthy.
Behind bedside cabinet was dirty.
We didn't need the room serviced but asked for 2 towels AND 2 FACE CLOTHS to be dropped off. Didn't get the facecloths.
Housemaids on checkout morning threatened us with $40 extra charge as we were not out at 10am. (left at 10:50).

Excellent - an enjoyable stay and experience
Pros:

A full suite with cooking and laundry facilities and very close to the Casino, Avon and CBD. Bed was very comfortable but the furniture was showing its age. Down stairs restaurant was good when it was open. Clean and spacious I would definitely recommend it.
