Charming hotel in Central Heidelberg, good value
Pros:

Historic charm and central location. Our room was large and overlooking the square. Good breakfast

Cons:

Being central it was noisy at night, but was our choice of location and is not a criticism of the hotel

Trotz allem schön, in solch einem historischen Gebäude mitten in der Stadt zu übernachten

Die Lage ist super - mitten in der Stadt

Cons:

Es war sehr heiß in der Zeit. Der Ritter hat keine Klimaanlage. Aber das wußten wir vorher. Es gab einen Ventilator.

Ich bin bereits des Öfteren Gast in diesem wunderschönen Hotel gewesen und bin immer wieder sehr begeistert: -sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes und kompetentes Personal
-TOP Lage im Herzen Heidelberg
-saubere,große und funktionale Zimmer
-bezaubernder, mittelalterliche Charme
-ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen
-leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück
-WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei

Diesmal bekamen wir sogar ein kostenloses Zimmer Upgrade.

Ich sage "DANKE!!!!!" und komme immer wieder sehr gerne 👍☺️

Location, proximity to old town, the river, the castle, restaurant choices.

Distance from the train station. Best to take public transportation instead of walking to hotel.

Great place to explore a historic city.
Pros:

Beautiful old building, our room looked over the square and great central location. We loved it here. was such a great stay and they have cold water in the kitchen you can fill your water bottles with if you ask.

Cons:

It was 39 degrees during our stay and there is no aircon (typical in large parts of Europe) so it was pretty warm although the room was spacious and comfortable with lots of windows to open but not much in the way of breeze. During the heat wave the coldest water in the shower was luke warm so hard to cool off but most of the time this would not be something you would notice.

From the outside it's a stunning historical building right in the middle of the city center. The staff is very nice.

Cons:

The hotel on the inside looks dated. It needs renovation and upgrading. Our room was large, bed was fine, but no side tables. Shower dated. Carpet dated. I wish I could say differently, but not the best....
