Die Sicht von unserem Zimmer auf den Fluss und den Wat Arun war einmalig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.

Beautiful and luxurious space in the heart of Bangkok!
Pros:

Front desk staff were always so friendly and helpful. The staff makes this hotel exceptional! Great location. Great view of Wat Arun!

Cons:

No drivers can find this place! But that is the drivers’ fault, not the hotel.

ALL THE WALLS ARE DECORATED IN MIRROR. ASIDE FROM THE TINY ROOMS, I FIND THE TOILET AND BATH WEIRD. THERE IS NO PLACE TO UNLOAD YOUR LUGGAGE EXCEPT THE BED

Loved the views and location, felt like Bangkok not like the newly developed areas and skyscrapers!
Pros:

I booked the premium jacuzzi room and the views were incredible. From the balcony you could see Wat Arun and the river and watch the boats go by. In the evening when the restaurants below are open you get the most incredible smells. The restaurant food was good and the view is spectacular as you can also see Wat Pho from the side of the terrace. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The local area has som me great cafes open during the day and a few restaurants opposite that are open in the evening. It is very close to Wat Pho and a the Grand Palace which makes sightseeing easy as you can get there early and beat the crowds.

Cons:

Nothing. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that

Pros:

Pros:

Fabulous location and amazing view of Wat Arun. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I would stay here again!

Cons:

The breakfast “buffet” was underwhelming, but convenient. And, the view from the roof can’t be beat.

The staff was wonderful and the view from the roof amazing.

Cons:

It was overpriced for what it was. For 600 US they put me in a room where you could barely walk around the bed and when you sat on the toilet your feet were in the shower. I did get moved after 2 days.

We absolutely LOVED Riva Arun. The location is simply perfect — an ideal base for exploring the stunning nearby temples, with great restaurants within walking distance, a safe and welcoming neighborhood, and easy access to the rest of the city via water taxi or train. There's even a 7-Eleven around the corner for water and supplies, which sounds like a small thing until you actually need it.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful at every turn.

But the true star of the stay was our waterfront room. It was one of the pricier hotels on our trip, and the room itself is compact — but the view? Absolutely off the charts. Worth every penny. We would return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Above Riva, the hotel restaurant: the breakfast was amazing, the dinner atmosphere was lovely, and the views are just as spectacular as the ones from the room.

Cons:

One small but worth-noting improvement: the bathroom commode light is controlled by the same switch as the bedroom light, meaning any middle-of-the-night trip disturbs whoever is sleeping. A separate switch would be an easy fix and make a real difference. We improvised a workaround with some electronics, but it shouldn't come to that.
