Absolutely gorgeous rooms. 10/10
It can be difficult to find the area/know it’s in a building with other offices if you’ve never been there before, so you kind of have to use pictures and street names to get you in the right parking lot.
Great view, great room, overall really nice and enjoyable.
The price is a bit steep, but it is summertime, so I see why.
Our recent trip to Reykjavik was outstanding and our stay at the Tower Suites was a highlight. The staff are amazing and so welcoming and friendly. We loved the room and the breakfast was incredible. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended and we will be definitely be back!
We have zero complaints about our stay in the Tower Suites in Reykjavik. It was perfect.
Location was good. We loved the boutique feel of the hotel.
Nothing
La proximité du centre-ville, le confort… le petit déjeuner complet !
Rien
Not directly in the City Center but close enough to reach everything in a short time.
Very well managed accommodation with personal service at top level. Rooms cater for all your comfort needs. Will definitely return.

View is amazing. breakfast in the room was awesome. Comfortable beds and full family stayed together. Easy to reach the city with car or walk (we drove too cold!) but it was a few minutes only. Neighborhood is businessy, this is the top floor of an office tower, however, you will likely go to the city anyway so didn't change anything for us!
Everything is comfortable! Shower on the small size but again this is if we have to be nitty....
The view overlooking the bay was amazing! And the staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. Having breakfast in our room every morning was also a major plus. We would definitely stay here, again!
Our recent three-night stay at Tower Suites Reykjavík was unfortunately very disappointing due to serious issues with both our room and how the situation was handled.
We booked and paid for the Panoramic Suite, expecting the premium experience reflected in the price—approximately $1,000 per night. However, upon arrival, we were placed in a significantly lower-tier suite. It was immediately clear that the room did not match what we had reserved.
When we brought this to the attention of the Boutique Manager, she initially acknowledged the discrepancy. She even confirmed that the rate we paid was more than double what guests typically pay for the room we were given (around $400 per night) and agreed that there appeared to be a booking issue between American Express and the hotel’s system. She told us she would send an email documenting this so we could pursue a refund.
However, after speaking with American Express, her stance changed completely. She denied ever making those statements, despite all three of us—my husband, our 12-year-old daughter, and myself—being present during the original conversation. The interaction quickly became uncomfortable. Instead of working toward a resolution, she became increasingly confrontational and dismissive.
At one point, she offered to move us into the correct Panoramic Suite for one night. But when we calmly disagreed with her revised version of events, she withdrew the offer, stating that we were making her “uncomfortable.” This felt both unprofessional and retaliatory.
This experience nearly ruined our first few nights in Iceland and definitely set a negative tone for the trip. We were so upset that even our daughter commented she wouldn’t want to return, saying that some of the people were “too mean.” That was especially disheartening, as we had been so excited for this trip.
The experience left us feeling frustrated and, frankly, gaslit. Being told something clearly, only to have it later denied, created a very unsettling situation. We were simply trying to resolve a legitimate issue regarding a significant price discrepancy.
The property itself is beautiful, and the concept is appealing—but customer service at this level is critical, especially at a luxury price point. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled overshadowed any positives.
Recommendation: If you choose to stay here, carefully verify your booking details directly with the hotel prior to arrival and confirm your room type upon check-in to avoid similar issues.
