Comfortable- staff that accommodated for our complex needs
Pros:

We had a lovely meal in the bar however the portion size of the vegan option risotto was small which was a disappointment. Others had twice if not more for similar price- it was so tasty but not enough for walkers to re-fill and prepare for the next day.

Good place to stop off for short break
Pros:

Good location room comfortable on ground floor. Food good great atmosphere. Lovely touch local gin and tonic in room to taste

Cons:

Stayed 3 nights no one came in to clean or give new towels or fill up tea/Coffee on our stay which was disappointing? Car park really small.

Perfect base to explore local area
Pros:

Room vey comfortable. Shower was amazing. Evening meal and breakfast excellent.

Cons:

The doorbell constantly ringing during our evening meal was annoying.
Kept stubbing my toes on the step in the bathroom.
Instructions for the coffee machine would have been helpful. Also didn’t know what the different coffee pods were.
Used the kettle which left the water tasting of descaler or sterilising fluid

Cousins weekend
Pros:

Everything. The room was very comfortable. Clean. Staff were very polite and worked very hard especially the young lady waitress this morning. We had the evening meal and breakfast both very nice. We would definitely come again

LOVELY HOTEL & LOCATION, SHAME ABOUT A MEMBER OF STAFF WHO RUINED IT.
Pros:

Absolutely loved the location and the interior of our room was perfect. The rooms were exceptional. The bar in the hotel was full of vibes and lively, which added to the evening. The exterior of the hotel was good too.

Cons:

I would have scored this higher but on arrival I was greeted by a very rude, unwelcoming and grumpy woman in the bar. We arrived at around 12.15 pm, never been here before. At reception there was a sign saying if there was no staff member to go to the bar for help and support. I walked into the bar and as I was talking about checking in, this very angry and frustrated member of staff, said "you can't check in til 3 pm, some are still sleeping", she didn't let me finish my sentence, assumed everything and learned nothing. Then others arrived and she literally said to all of us "Guys you can't get in until 3 pm, come on", it was like she was talking to school children. I firmly said to her if you would let me finish, I wasn't asking to get in to my room. She waffled on and was rude, there were no kind words, have you had a good journey, nice to meet you, are you here on holiday, zero. She was just frustrated we were there and offered us nothing but a very rude mouth. The rest of the stay I never saw her again, thank goodness and the rest of the staff were great.

Un endroit charmant !
Pros:

L’emplacement et l’aspect cosy de la chambre étaient très agréables.

Cons:

Nous avions sélectionné et payé pour la demie pension, ce qui implicitait le dîner dans l’établissement... Nous avions annoncé notre horaire d’arrivée... Surprise, aucune ne nous était réservée et nous avons dû attendre un bon bout de temps pour en avoir une.... La logique aurait voulu qu’on nous demande en amont l’heure souhaitée de notre dîner afin de nous réserver une table... Conclusion: si l’organisation de l’établissement n’évolue pas, pensez à réserver votre table même si vous avez choisi la demie pension.
Attention pas d’ascenseur dans l’établissement avec des escaliers assez étroits

Pros:

Schön gelegen im Zentrum von Lynton. Der Hausflur ist etwas muffig, aber das Zimmer ganz hübsch. Das essen im Restaurant hat uns nicht so sehr geschmeckt, aber dafür war das Frühstück das Beste unserer ganzen Reise. Auch der Pub im Haus ist gemütlich und hat gute Musik, man bekommt auch zu späterer Stunde noch etwas zu trinken.

Cons:

Qualität der Speisen im Restaurant.
