Brilliant: would recommend! Lots of attention to detail: check out the hand painted murals in the pub!
Pros:

The location was perfect, plus what an amazing remodel: we loved our brand new trendy suite, with all the snazzy mod-cons and contemporary furnishings. We were relieved to find that our rooms were far away from the Crown’s hopping pub—super quiet and a great sleep. Also a delish breakfast (we note the restaurant & pub were popular with non-guests, too)

Cons:

Hard to think of anything!
Our particular rooms would have been difficult to reach for an elderly person carrying bags—lots of stairs & level changes to reach there. The hallways were more utilitarian than the rooms.

We loved our short stay here and will definatley be returning
Pros:

It was friendly and all of the staff were welcoming, especially Caroline. The rooms were clean and modern but they also kept in keeping with the character of the building. Breakfast was good, as too were the evening meals. Will definitely be returning 10 out of 10👍

There was nothing to not like about this hotel, it was excellent👍

Good hotel
Pros:

Did not have breakfast but evening meal was good. Well stocked bar with 3 or 4 real ales on draught and largers at reasonable prices.small car park but had no problem. pay car park just around the corner.Stayed here 3 years ago as Valley of Rocks hotel has no bar or restaurant.Fantastic walk along cliff path with wild goats. Hotel is in Lynton with fenicula down to Lynmouth.very long queues at bottom to get back up.Better taking car down and pay for parking

Amazing place very professional staff but BUILDERS . It was a quite place in the noisiest hotel

Cons:

Tbh it should have been closed as it was under refurbishment builders everywhere. Got told 8am on wards for them starting 6.45 banging in the work vans. speaking with another couple at breakfast and they was the same. Breakfast was 3/10 not worth the extra we paid
