As is typical with these hotels, the parking spots are so tight. Even with a standard SUV. A bit frustrating to park and get in and out.

The parking was tight. The parking garage was tight getting into and out.

The description shows you the main building, then when you get there, they tell you you’re booked in the annex board across the street. The pictures they show you are from the main building not the annex exploding. You cannot see the sunrise from the annex building.

Our experience at Olympic Hotel was absolutely horrible, and unfortunately, the management completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun family vacation.

We were a large family group that booked **9 rooms**. From the very beginning, the manager made us feel unwelcome. Our first interaction was being told that there was **NO music allowed by the pool, even if it wasn't loud, NO talking loudly, and NO groups staying outside after 10 PM because the entire property had to be completely silent.**

We had children with us, and they became so afraid of being yelled at that they were hesitant to even call each other from across the pool area. This is supposed to be a family-friendly hotel, yet our children felt like they had to whisper and walk on eggshells the entire time.

On the first night, we had a BBQ and were sitting near the grill eating dinner. The manager came over and **yelled at us and accused us of being selfish** for using the only two tables available near the grill. She then told us to leave the area because it was getting close to 10 PM. I politely asked if she could please give us enough time to finish our dinner.
Instead of handling the situation reasonably, she **threatened to call the police if we didn't leave and follow the rules.**
Seriously?
The following day was even worse.
Another group of guests — people we did not even know — had music playing. We were simply enjoying the music and having fun together. The manager came outside and **yelled at both them and us** and eventually called the police to have those guests removed.
What was most upsetting was seeing our **little children crying because they became terrified that their parents were going to jail.** The manager appeared completely indifferent to how frightening the situation was for the children.
This was supposed to be a family vacation. Instead, management turned it into stressful vacation.

The tv remote didn’t work

My booking showed me across the street in ocean view and when checked in was not put there.

The property manager was horrible and treated us like little kids literally.

I am absolutely disgusted by how my family was treated at this hotel. Around 3:00 PM in the afternoon, we were relaxing out by the pool. There was another large family of about 11 people out there, and my family of 4 was just minding our own business and having a great time. We turned on some music, keeping it at a completely reasonable, normal volume. A female staff member asked us to lower the music, and we immediately did so. Despite us complying, she still called the police on us and escalated the situation..We just wanted to have a nice, relaxing family vacation, and she completely ruined it for us. The management here is hostile, aggressive, and clearly lacks any basic customer service or communication skills. To call the cops on paying guests who are just enjoying the pool during the middle of the day is insane. Avoid this place if you actually want to enjoy your stay.

The pool was cold even though it was to be heated

Charge for ice machine , we also booked for an ocean front instead got put in the annex which was 1 block over disappointing 😞

There was no place to put clothing, only one drawer. Ice machine was broken. They should specify what type of coffee maker. I would have brought my pods misty of bagged ground coffee.

The bathrooms are very small. Charging for ice from an ice machine. The towels were small & very rough. The door was extremely hard to unlock.

We could have been given some guidance as to what to do when we got there ( exhausted from travel)… We were refused our 2 night stay because booking.com did not apply the pet friendly filter we had expected. We were told to take it up with booking.com and were charged for both nights! The manager was rude and we were not even offered a reachable number to call Booking.com to see if we could work something out. Since we only got “ bots” etc. when we tried hard to get through to booking.com , we had to stay in a substandard place out of desperation and pay for that too! Very bad experience.
