Property was immaculate and the staff especially Di couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was fab. The hotel was right in the middle of Polpero with parking available opposite. A real bonus given that Polpero has a non parking policy.
Outside area was lovely filled with plants but needs a little TLC. However highly recommended.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel in an amazing location with friendly staff. Super clean with everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and lots of choice - we ate outside which was lovely. Hotel parking was a huge bonus.

We chose the Claremont because they offer free parking, a real bonus in Polperro. The breakfast menu was really good and the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and helpful. They operate an honesty bar at very reasonable prices and there is a hot drinks machine in the bar area free for residents to use. There is a terrace with comfy tables and chairs, perfect to sit and people watch. Special mention to Diane who went out of her way to make our stay special.
The hotel is a former fisherman’s cottage. It has steps from the street to reception and very steep stairs to the rooms.
Just about every aspect was excellent. Good location, very friendly and attentive staff and excellent breakfast.

The hotel was comfortable and very clean.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht und hat uns am Nachmittag der Ankunft zum einchecken angerufen damit wir weniger Stress mit der Uhrzeit haben (17:00 ist Schluss). Es gab eine tee-station im Zimmer, beim Frühstück ( Frühstücksraum angenehm) gab es Hafermilch und ein vegetarisches Frühstück.
Parkplatz gegenüber vom Hotel im Hof inklusive. Es gibt in der Lobby eine honest Bar wo man sich auf Vertrauensbasis Getränke nehmen und aufschreiben kann. Wasser im Zimmer war heiß und es gab eine anständige Mischbatterie am Waschbecken. Regendusche vorhanden
Bei Ankunft und Betreten der Lobby traf uns ein stechender Hundegeruch, sehr unangenehm. Nicht nur das hunde im Hotel sein können, es gab in der Lobby extra Decken und Betten welche Hundegeruch ausgedünstet haben. Ob die Hunde auch in unserem Zimmer waren weiß ich nicht aber alles ist mit Teppich voll und ich hatte mit meinen Asthma starke Probleme. Dieses Hotel hat seine besten Tage hinter sich, es war ziemlich runtergerockt, vor allem von außen, und auf gar keinen Fall 175 Pfund wert. Wir haben jetzt diese Woche jeden Abend in einem anderen Hotel geschlafen und jedes war hochwertiger und günstiger als dieses.
Dekokissen und Tagesdecken im Zimmer könnten mal eine Wäsche gebrauchen
