Food was tasty and we had great service from Ravi and Sathees

Although we were only there for two days we had a fantastic time and wholeheartedly recommend 98 Acres. Service, scenery and food were all top quality. We look forward to returning some time in the future.

We had the best stay at 98 acres. We are a family of 4 and booked the Grand Executove Suite as a special treat.

We are well travelled and can honestly say this hotel is number 1. Everything about 98 acres is special. The location, the food, the views, the comfort of the rooms but what really takes the hotel to another level is the people and the quality of service.

So much to do in Ella including a nature walk and secret waterfall with the hotels naturalist Deneth (who was brilliant).

Special mention to Ashan and Parsad who took such good care of us.

Everything was just magical

e had our Ella Rock climb with Gayasha the Naturalist from the 98 Acres Resort & Spa. In short … it was amazing!
Gayasha met us with a tuk tuk at 4:30am and although you might think that’s a crazy time to be starting a hike, it was the start of a spectacular morning. It was dark and mysterious as we started the climb but Gayasha’s knowledge and soft manner made the trek a pleasure. We chatted and walked and before we were half way up a couple of dogs decided to join us for the journey (don’t be afraid they were tame and just wanted to have some fun). We continued the climb and all the while Gayasha was teaching us wonderful things about the local area and the wildlife. With that we were at the peak and settled in for a tea and biscuit waiting for what turned out to be an awe inspiring sunrise. Gayasha continued to share his knowledge and teach about this amazing place. Our journey was not finished and we continued on for more amazing views and … well that’s for you to find out.
All in all I highly recommend the morning Ella Rock walk and if you’re lucky enough to have Gayasha as your naturalist, you’re in for a real treat.

We had a wonderful stay at 98 Acres Resort & Spa in Ella. The hotel is absolutely fabulous, with stunning views, excellent facilities, and a very relaxing atmosphere. We were even upgraded to a bungalow with a private pool, which made our experience truly special and unforgettable.

A special thanks to Freddy, who drove us by buggy from the reception to our bungalow. He was extremely kind, professional, and helpful with all our luggage, and he made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

The combination of the beautiful property, outstanding facilities, and the warm hospitality of the staff made our stay exceptional. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ella!

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Grand Executive Suite with Plunge Pool which was absolutely amazing. The room was beautiful with an infinity plunge pool looking out over the hills and tea plantations. The staff and service were exceptional and the resort was beautiful. The breakfast provided was excellent including a mixture of both a la carte and top quality buffet options. I would love to go back to this resort - it was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka.

We spent 3 nights of our honeymoon at 98 acres and loved every minute. The location is beautiful and the view from our room was incredible. We found 3 nights gave us a chance to climb Little Adam’s Peak, visit the 9 Arch Bridge but also to use the lovely spa and relax by the pool. Dinners were lovely, with music playing in the restaurant creating a good atmosphere. Amanda was particularly lovely serving us. The view from breakfast was fantastic. We would love to visit gain in the future.

I went to 98 Acres restaurant with my managers and executives for a business dinner coupled with a training session. Mr.Chandana and Kusal were nothing but wonderful, attentive and helpful looking after my team. Beautiful place, perfect ambience with perfect weather in Ella. Highly recommend the place, the team and the menu options.

What an amazing hotel. We stayed here for a few days towards the end of July, and we will truly not forget it! The location is out of this world, with outstanding views of little Adam's Peak and the hills all around. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, as well as being very clean. Service was amazing, with everyone being really friendly. Special mention to Sathees, Shanish and Dhines, who were incredible and so hospitable. We were especially impressed with the lunchtime food; we won't forget the salads from the pool for a long time! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 98 Acres - thank you!

Room was beautiful and the views were stunning, you could just sit and look from the balcony all day.

The staff were exceptional. Everyone we dealt with were happy to help without feeling overbearing. Amanda and Imesha at the restaurant provided a great service. I had the Authentic Sri Lanka experience meal and it was delicious as were the hoppers and curry breakfast.

We treated ourselves to a massage and spa experience which was also great. Dulanjani and Jesmi are very skilled masseuses, one of the best massages I’ve had!

Walking distance to little Adam’s Peak (30 mins) and the Nine Arches Bridge (30 mins) and also into Ella main town (30 mins) or a quick tuk tuk.

Only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Unforgettable stay at Ella.98 Acres made it even better.Good rooms,good foods and special thing is the hotel is very clean.Staff is very good and im giving my 10/10 credits to Food & Beverage Manager Mr.Chandana.He was so good to us take cared about us.he treated to his every guests as VIP.Thank you Chandana again and will visit again definitely.
