Luxury in the heart of the town
Pros:

A charming historical boutique hotel in the Centre of the old town of Amboise. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too hard for them. The outdoor pool was a welcome relief during the current heatwave. Our room was spacious and had a spectacular view of the chateaux. Would highly recommend staying here.

Nothing we could fault.

Lovely hotel with character
Pros:

The hotel is very quaint, excellent location, room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom, the parking was excellent very much needed as the town can get busy at times. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little chaotic and not good value, we ate breakfast in the town after the first breakfast. Close to the road so can be a little noisy first thing, but cannot be helped if you want good access to the town, so not a major issue

A great base to explore Amboise if you pick the right room
Pros:

Excellent location, very nice pool and outside garden area for sitting with a drink, very handy parking which is tricky in old towns like Amboise and staff were helpful. The bathroom was very good with a walk in shower and seperate toilet and the room on the second floor had direct lift access.
The visit to Clos de Luce, Leonardo da Vinci final home was a highlight with models of many of his inventions set in lovely grounds and the Chateau is also interesting

Cons:

Our only complaint is that our room on the second floor had a ‘dormer’ roof with slopping walls and around a third of the room was unusable and dangerous to the head from potentially hitting the wall/ceiling. Suggest communicating with the hotel for a room other than 6 and preferably on the first floor level

Beautiful property, walking distance to everything!
Pros:

Wonderful, large room with ensuite bathroom; separate bath and shower. Wonderful host and staff! Beautiful property within walking distance to everything in town. Lovely courtyard and pool area. Onsite parking for a fee.
