The hotel was on a noisy highway, very outdated, the tv remote didn’t work, and the hotel was very overpriced for the poor quality of the hotel. Would not stay here again!

The bed was incredibly soft, to the point of discomfort. As someone with a bad back, it was very difficult for me to get comfortable enough to sleep after a long day of wedding coordinating. The light on the makeup mirror in the bedroom didn't work and since the bathroom is small (one person at a time), it made it difficult to get ready at the same time.

A little close to the road so some noise but we used a noise machine and had no issues then.

We never had door access. Codes are used and our door lock would not function. GM had to unlock our door remotely so going to dinner or to the river was a hassle. Not having access to what you pay for and someone with remote entry seemed a huge lack of security for us. The GM came to show us how the door worked and became aware of the lock malfunction immediately. She offered us the staff code which was the only code the door would unlock with. That was wildly unsafe. Not only do we know the staff code, but all staff had access to our room during our stay. There is not a secondary lock or chain on the inside so not matter what the room can be accessed. We were not offered a secured room or refund so we stayed nervously. Around 2 am we woke from cold and to the door open about an inch or two. When we got up to shut it and turn the lock to lock the mechanism resisted and continuously unlocked. Clearly the device was malfunctioning. So we sat awake from 2 - 5 am. Too tired to enjoy day 2 of our trip we went home. At 7am I contacted the GM and explained everything and asked for some compensation as we realize we used the services and the room would need cleaned but our trip was miserable as we felt unsafe and didn't get what we paid for. We got a text saying sorry and she'd see what she could do but no response in the week since.$204 was a mighty price for a highway side motel without a door lock. Would have stayed again if they'd made it right and locks were functioning. It was so clean, but not willing now with no response from management.

A little pricey for as small as it is. Buena Vista works on supply/demand, so when you want to be there, so does everyone else. This is reflected in the prices.
