Clean, comfy.. Great shower.. Spacious room with everything you need.
Expect a bit of noise from local pubs.. It is a busy area but after had a gd night sleep

Bar shut early for residents but could of been due to championship match,but that withstanding fullyhappy to use this place again.i can’t fault anything objectively
It was an amazing experience from start to finish . Great location, great staff , beautiful room , very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be returning.
The only issue was the TV we couldn't get it to work, but as we were rarely in the room it wasn't a major problem.
Es muy acogedor, justo en el centro neurálgico de Southampton donde todo pasa. El desayuno era delicioso. Hay una pequeña parte de bufet i después diferentes opciones de desayuno a la carta.
Las escaleras empinadas a la habitación, pero era un mal menor.
Das Zimmer war fantastisch, alles was für mich toll ist, war da. Super gemütliches Bett, eine Dusche inkl. Regendusche ❤️. Ein Kühlschrank, ein guter Fön und das Fenster ließ sich öffnen. Das Personal war perfekt, das Frühstück und auch die anderen Speisen waren sehr lecker. Ich werde das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen 🙂

No lift - but stated very clearly on website before booking and wasn’t big issue overall
Lovely front of house staff, and a comfortable bed in a nicely decorated room with good wifi. When I asked they happily moved me to a room away from the street which was a little noisy. Rooms had tea and coffee and biscuits, water, fresh milk and a beer. There was also air con which you don't always get in UK hotels!
Enjoyed the robes and slippers which was a nice touch. Shower and toiletries were also good.
The cooked food at dinner and breakfast was not fresh. The pastries were nice enough, but the smashed avocado on my order was leftover from the day before (very brown), and the Caesar salad was over dressed and had soggy croutons, I guess because it was premixed much earlier in the day.
Was slightly disappointed not to have a bath, there were baths in all the room photos. The fact it was either a shower or bath is quite buried in the room description.
Great location, fabulous staff. Loved the decor and the attention to detail with the link to Titanic. Breakfast was very good; great selection and delicious.
It is in a busy area which won’t suit all but it was great for us.
The rooms are well decorated with a maritime theme, with very comfortable beds.
The property was very well maintained; we were staying overnight and decided proximity to the pier for our cruise the following day and it being our wedding anniversary balanced out the cost, which is always a consideration for us.
Our room faced the street which is lined with pubs, and it was a Friday night. Despite that, the bit of noise that was from the pubs didn't disturb us or our sleep. Food in the pub was excellent, all staff were very friendly and helpful. I regret we didn't have a chance to stay longer, but it was a splurge for us. White Star is ideal for anyone sailing on a cruise as proximity to the pier is great (if you let the staff know the night before, they can arrange for a shuttle. We chose to walk instead). Loved the atmosphere of the place, lots of books, photos, mementos of not only White Star line, but sailing history generally. It is also an ideal location for exploring Southampton and beyond as well. If arriving by train, be aware you will want a cab to the hotel if you are carrying anything more than a small bag/backpack. Can't praise the staff and the cumberland sausage enough.
Nothing at all to complain about. It is well worth it!

Location, cleanliness and food and drink all excellent.
If you were sensitive to noise, there is a lot going on nearby on a Saturday night, but it didn’t bother me at all!
