No aircon in +38C temperature and one flimsy fan . Reception wouldn't give us more fans and bathroom was even hotter.....

We extended our stay to 2 nights but found it extremely expensive @ £615 for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Unfortunately we were there during an unexpected heatwave & struggled without air conditioning, just a fan in the room circulating warm air didn’t really do it for us!!

Very classy clean and great service
It is located in a great position with a view across the meadows to the Thames. Just a short walk along the riverbank to the centre of Richmond. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent.
We visited during the June 2026 heatwave and without airconditioning the rooms are quite hot. At any other time it would be great.
