Pleasant but struggled with the heat…
Pros:

Lovely location and beautiful building, excellent staff, spacious room but very small bathroom

Cons:

We extended our stay to 2 nights but found it extremely expensive @ £615 for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Unfortunately we were there during an unexpected heatwave & struggled without air conditioning, just a fan in the room circulating warm air didn’t really do it for us!!

Hidden gem in Richmond.
Pros:

It is located in a great position with a view across the meadows to the Thames. Just a short walk along the riverbank to the centre of Richmond. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent.

Cons:

We visited during the June 2026 heatwave and without airconditioning the rooms are quite hot. At any other time it would be great.
