A majestic, beautifully appointed hotel and our comfortable room had everything imaginable with plenty of well located power points and light switches.
Konumu güzeldi tek geçerli durumu
Odada böcek çıktı, örümcekler vardı yatak temiz değildi odalarda klima yok, odada mini bar yok konforlu bir oda değildi dışarıdan göründüğü gibi kesinlikle değil su bile getirseler servis parası alıyorlar tavsiye kesinlike etmiyorum rezervasyonda depozito alınıyor baştan bu çok saçma geldi buna dikkat edin.

Separate shower and fridge
Beautiful building and views over the river. Lovely room.
Unfortunately the reception we got from the reception team wasn’t great. Not welcoming at all and it sounded like the man on the phone was arguing with a customer. Not shown to our room or offered any welcome or explanation of the hotel facilities, nor offered to share information about the area or anything at all really. A snarky comment was made that we should be grateful for the air con in the room - completely uncalled for.
Our room was pleasant, but had the tiniest window looking right out onto the car park and pathway so we couldn’t have the blinds open.
View was wonderful. Staff were all very helpful. The only problem was the heated towel rail was on,it was last week during the heatwave and we were unable to open the windows.
Location and the convenience. Love the building and the proximity to the river.
Booked two rooms but they are not too close to each other. One room lacked view and cannot open the windows because there’s a scaffolding outside. No view at all.
Superb room with fantastic views
Noisy central air conditioning / heating unit outside our room (#112)
location and the view is fantastic
Lovely, clean and quiet. Lunch was also nice and waiter very polite, well located and nice terraces for good weather.
Seemed to be some sort of dynamic and sales pitched marketing meeting happening whilst I was trying to enjoy a quiet lunch. I was able to move outside with minimal fuss so issue was resolved well.
Room was very comfortable - the air conditioning cooled the room very quickly. There was the usual tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was very nice, with a large shower with good water pressure, and we liked the twin basins. There was plenty of free parking - which was very appriciated, I get fed up with having to pay for parking to stay at a hotel.
There was lovely views over Richmond and the river Thames. The walk into Richmond took about 10mins.
The bar/restaurant was excelent - I would also like to say a thank you to all the staff who were friendly and responisve and made it a very nice stay.
We didnt have dinner at the hotel as we were attending a function - however breakfast was excelent.
Very minor items - a few more tea bags in the room please.
Beautiful location overlooking the river
Loved everything about it.
I encourage you to read this review in full, don't just ready these positive bits. The hotel is in a lovely location, it is very clean and the architecture of the building is gorgeous with nice views from the restaurant.
There is no air conditioning. We stayed in an unexpected heatwave in May and we struggled to sleep as all we had was a tiny fan to keep us cool in our small bed. We had one thick duvet on the bed, so we had to take it out of the cover in order to have appropriate bedding for the weather. The room itself was small and pokey. The bathroom was huge and more nicely decorated, but the bathtub / shower was tiny (which was so frustrating given how large the bathroom was).
The restaurant prices were astronomical and did not reflect the quality of the food - I paid about £16 for a herbal tea and a handful of chopped fruit.
On top of the already very high room rate, we were charged a service charge (albeit an optional ome) which we were not expecting. Overall, we were left feeling disappointed given how much we paid.
