As expected…. Not as modern as other Arlos in the city but fine
Pros:

The reception team were great. They gave me a charger I forgot and when I asked to buy it on leaving they gifted it to me…. A couple of dollars but made a big difference

Cons:

Room adjacent to lift shafts / engineering room and it was audible

Top notch staff
Pros:

Kyara, Bri and Jamilah are top notch. I stay almost every Tuesday night for work and they always go above and beyond to make sure my stay is perfect. They always welcome me with a smile, check me in fast and make sure I get the best possible room. They help me with everything from bookings and changing reservations to grabbing extra utensils to go containers. They are awesome!! The entire staff is great.

Arlo is my favorite NYC hotel with great views and cool, modern vibes.
Pros:

Arlo has personality! All the little touches from the fortune cookies to the elevator tic-tac-toe really make this a cool hotel. I loved the decor and the large windows. Sure, the rooms are on the smaller side but the vibes made up for the limited square footage. And don’t get me started on the signature scent—it was divine!

Cons:

No complaints.

Pros:

Staff were very kind. Easy check-in and check-out process. Gives you 30 min free ride using Citi bike. Great locations. Great views.

Cons:

Location was perfect. But the size of the bed is not standard size. Even we use the queen size bed at our home and the bed in hotel felt smaller than expectations.

Exceptional service (shoutout Jamilah, Kyara and Ed)!!
Pros:

I had a wonderful experience at Arlo! The front desk and the service team are exceptional— esp. shoutout to Jamilah, Kyara and Ed. It was my first time in NYC and Jamilah went out of the way to ensure I have a fantastic experience. She was so accommodating when I wanted to switch rooms and truly ensured that I have a great stay.

Ed even transferred my food to my room’s refrigerator along with my pre-checked luggage. These personal touches are so thoughtful and so rare

Their genuine care and kind heartedness made me feel so welcomed— and made the trip memorable. It is so nice to see such warm people in such a big city.

They really care about their guests, and truly love what they do. NYC will now always be synonymous with their kindness, and I will definitely stay here whenever I return!

Great hotel- even better staff!
Pros:

Arlo Nomad was a 10/10 experience. First time visiting NYC with my wife. Stayed in a King Sky View on the 28th floor and it was incredible. Small space, but to be expected. It had everything we needed after a long day of exploring the City. Central to all the typical tourist locations and nearby some of the cities best restaurants. On top of everything the staff was so friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Moises for going above and beyond. He remembered us every time we visited the lobby, and deserves all the praise. It truly felt like we made a friend. Thank you to Fabricio as well, assisting us and retrieving our bags after check out. Can’t wait to come back next time!

Home Away From Home
Pros:

The stay was absolutely incredible. There's no other hotel, location nor city I wanna stay in besides this one. The daytime staff was phenomenal. Welcoming. Supportive. I legit felt like I had a dream midtown home. The diversity and expertise behind the desk, in the diner, mind u we ain't even eat at the diner cuz of schedule, but the dining staff was even pleasant as we waited for the elevator. This team is nothing short of incredible and I'd like to give a special shout out to these official tissue top tier ladies: Jamilah, Kyara & Bri - Queens of Midtown. Grateful for the brand, the honoring of Juneteenth and support for the queer gang. Much love to whoever hired these wonderful ladies and will surely be staying, spending money and investing time in Arlo Nomad many times before the Summer out. Paz!
