Idyllic guesthouse with delicious restaurant!
Pros:

Lovely people! Truly, this guesthouse treats you like family. We even chatted with other guests during mealtimes who added to our memories of this island. There was a delicious, filling Turkish breakfast each morning that we enjoyed on the front terrace. Our high-ceiling triple room was clean and spacious (with firmer mattresses, my back thanks you!) and with partial views of the sea which was a nice, unexpected treat. There are common areas inside and out where you can either sit inside and absorb the history of the house and its simple grandeur, or relax outside on a small balcony with endless views of the sea and the Asian side of Istanbul.

The restaurant at the guesthouse is fantastic! It was some of the best food we had in our ten days in Istanbul. They were like home-cooked meals made by a family member who also happened to be an amazing chef. We regret not eating all of our meals there during the two days we spent there.

You can wander around beautiful neighborhoods, you can rent bikes, or take buses to explore further afield. We decided to circumnavigate the island on foot which ended up being about 12 km. The southern half has no motorized traffic and is much less populated (we found ourselves visiting the island during the second biggest holiday of year, so it was crowded on the north end!). You can also take a small bus (one of many traversing most of the island) to the southernmost stop and then walk around the bottom half (Google Maps has great transit schedules to figure this all out). There are occasional cafés/restaurants to stop at along the way.

If you want a little peace and quiet with a short walk into the busier part of the town, this is the place! Thank you, Özlem and İsmail, and for an unforgettable stay on Büyükada!

Otelin konumu harikaydı.Bahçede çok keyifli zaman geçirdik.Eski bir konakta konaklamak bize çok güzel hissettirdi.Üst kat balkondan manzara muhteşemdi.Özellikle Özlem hanım ve İsmail bey çok ilgiliydiler.Bize kendimizi evimizdeymişiz gibi hissettirdiler.İstanbulun karmaşasından uzak çok güzel vakit geçirdik.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! ❤️

The rooms are stunning and beautifully designed, making you feel like you’re staying in a castle or a charming museum. Every detail is thoughtfully chosen, creating such a cozy atmosphere, and everything was perfectly clean.

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They were always available, responded quickly, and were happy to help with any questions or requests, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely love to come back in the future. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique, beautiful, and comfortable hotel with amazing hospitality!

Das Frühstück war für türkische Verhältnisse mager. Das Abendessen überteuert. Wir wollten noch eine Nacht anhängen, wurden aber einem Pries mit 70 Prozent Aufschlag angeboten. Sehr seltsam...

Pros:

Отель расположен в старинном особняке, которому (по словам хозяйки) уже 200 лет. Когда зашли внутрь, сразу достали телефон, чтобы делать фото и видео - очень красиво!
В номере было чисто и уютно, удобный матрас и подушки, белоснежное постельное белье и полотенца.
Ванная комната была очень большая. Душевая кабина с мраморным полом - прям как в гареме султана Сулеймана:)
Завтрак - шведский стол. Однозначно можно наесться, ча-кофе, всякие закуски. Единственное, что было не так - почему-то горячие блюда (картофель и сосиски) горячими не были.
Расположение прекрасное - рядом с центром, но на достаточном расстоянии, чтобы не было толп и шума.
Хозяйка - просто замечательная! Очень компанейская, веселая и дружелюбная.

少し歩けばすぐ中心部なので、散策しやすいロケーションだった
朝御飯も基本的なのが揃ってて十分でした。

Pros:

Beautiful old mansion. Tarnished but fantastic in its history, interiors, ceiling height, views. The owner, Ismayil, was very accommodating to all requests.

Cons:

Being a converted old mansion, the room was small for the 2 beds they have in but I don't know how you would change that. The bathroom was a retrofit and functions well but there is a huge height difference from the room up to the bathroom with a tough to manage super high step. I don't love Turkish coffee so ordered 2 cups each Americanos. Charged $5 each for a small americano which is exorbitant. Good coffee. Crazy price. Other than that the breakfast choices were great. Though I loved the place, it does not look like the photos in booking. Like I said, a bit "tarnished" but fabulous nonetheless. Pretty decent walk from town if you have big luggage. But that said, it was "far from the madding crowd". I would stay again.

Pros:

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable à l’hôtel Anastasia sur l’Île aux Princes. L’endroit est plein de charme, avec une ambiance authentique qui change des hôtels classiques.

La chambre était confortable et le cadre vraiment paisible, parfait pour une petite escapade. Le petit déjeuner était également très sympa, simple mais de qualité, avec des produits frais.

Une belle expérience que nous recommandons pour ceux qui cherchent un séjour calme et dépaysant !
